Nothing more refreshing for lunch than a salad, lettice, carrot, Pepper (red, yellow & green), some onion, tuna mixed up with malt vinegar and some honey roasted chicken BOOM! Top all that off with some Basmalic vinegar and cheese it's a huge filling meal
It's fine for people to eat whatever the hell they like, long as they don't stop me eating what I like. Food is like religion that way...
I love salads, they taste so good and they are basically the only thing I order when I go to resturants. I say if you enjoy eating it then eat it, don't worry about what people say. Doesn't stop unhealthy people from eating the McRib, so don't let it stop you from enjoying something that is both super tasty AND good for you.

Salads are staple of my diet. And I am a manly man. If your girlfriend is that obsessive about you looking "manly", I would recommend an end to the relationship.

Apparently, I'm in the minority: salads are not food, they're a side dish. I wouldn't say you shouldn't eat them because you're a man, but I would definitely say you have a vagina because you choose that over something far better that actually involves something filling.
If you were a close friend and you ordered a salad, I would rip the piss out of you. Salads just aren't something worth spending money on. This is merely personal preference though.
