Poll: He's brutally honest... Or is he?

I enjoy pretty much every game I play and Yahtzee doesn't so I guess not.

He himself has stated that his reviews are not to be taken seriously. He's giving his opinions. And those opinions are hilarious. I don't play all the games he reviews, but those that he does review and I managed to play, I usually agree with him on.

Ben Yahtzee Croshaw's makes it his job to review games negatively, he just balances the scales a little against all the worshipping. He will say if he likes a game but makes a point to mention the things other people conveniently gloss over. Sometimes it may be exaggerated but Ben's expected to make reviews in that style now.

Does anyone fully agree with Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's views on games? I do, but I hear a lot about fanboys complaining.

Yahtzee doesn't annoy me, the people that take his 'reviews' seriously do.

Now i don't usually make a fuss. His Monster Hunter review was very opinionated and didn't stretch beyond the tutorial. THAT didn't bother me, but when i looked at the comments and saw 100's of "10 hour tutorial?" and "wow, i'm never buying that trash", that's what i'm using as rant fuel.

Basically what i see there is people refusing to buy a decent game because the tutorial isn't very action packed.
I can't say whether his other reviews have caused similar situations but i'd hate to see people missing out on other great games because of him.
