Poll: Hi. I'm a brony.

So after all my friends changed their face book pictures to ponies and started to send me messages about how awesome ponies are, I started to think the apocalypse really had happened.

After my brother of all people told me to watch the show, I was quite positive the four ponymen (hehehe)were going to drop by for a cup of sugar next. Grudgingly, I agree to watch the pilot episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Then I proceeded to laugh my ass off.

After the first two I found myself addicted, watching the episodes as fast as I could. When I finished the last episode, I grabbed my brother by the collar and demanded more, much like a crack addict. Like Santa Christ rising from the dead, he told me that there was a second season on its way. So now I spend most of my time listening to My Little Pony songs and remixes on youtube.

I know for a fact I'm not the only one out there, so vote my fellow bronies and all of you who are not blessed enough to become one.

Not only is the show really funny, it's also (in my opinion) got very good messages and plot lines.

So what exactly is the discussion value of your thread? This feels more like a blog post than a topic for discussion.

Bronies are a cool bunch of people to hang out with I find ^~^! I love the show and I love the community ^~^! There's so much awesomeness with MLP FiM, that it's kinda hard to see why more people don't like the show, but each to their own >~<!

It's really cute, really well written, and has some laught-out-loud funny moments (amplified by the talent of the animators). And the storylines still hold up when viewed from an adult perspective.

But really, it's just an all-around high quality cartoon, so it's worth seeing even if it's not really aimed at your demographic.

Started with the usual, "Whats wrong with you people, its a KIDS show!"

Then I decided I'd see what the fuss is all about (felt bad judging something I knew nothing about.)

Watched the first show....then had to watch the second to get the ending....figured I might as well watch the 3rd...and before I knew it, was through the whole season.

It's funy, got plenty of good stories, and some adult jokes (not in a sexual/violent way obviously, but jokes only adults would get.) Plus its nice change of pace to have something thats just good, clean, and entertaining after all the general cynicism out there today.

Yeah, when I started to see a lot of people with pony avatars and such, I started to worry. Then I noticed people talking about it. Then I realized everyone was serious and it wasn't some sort of 4chan joke or some shit.
