It depends for me. IF it was a long term partner, I'd say no, wait. Unless I could save the game.

If it was a one off hot girl, I'd pause it, and if that's not an option, I'd quit.

But if it took more than, say, a minute, then I'd pause the game and get to lovin'.

Or if I can't pause, and the last save point was an hour away, well........that ones a toughy, but still get to lovin'!
