I'm pretty sure sexuality is a made up place, they can do what they want.

But seriously folks, people should be allowed to be with who they want.

Gay people are fine as shit. I don't give a crap normally, but I find it hilarious how they must continuously pester the church for getting married.

Because, Christianity is like "We don't want to marry you guys, just leave us alone! Get your own religion" and the homosexuals goes "Nuh-uh, you've GOT to let us marry!"

Like some people knocking on ones door, going "You've GOT to let us in." You'll just reply, slightly terrified "I don't want to let you in, get away! Get your own damn house!"
Seriously, they don't want you in. Marry in another religion.
I think that you've misunderstood massively. It's not the Christian rights of marriage that they want, it's the legal rights.
Legality is another issue, but it still is a religious practice, isn't it? Or when did the Government suddenly build their own churches?

It is an affront to the sacred act of creating life, I abhor it for that fact... That being said, I try my best to spread love amongst my fellow man, regardless of what they do... "Hate the sin, not the sinner."

From the wiki on marriage: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage]
Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kinship.
(Emphasis my own).

I did not know that. Much appreciated. (Sincere)

Still going to tease them if it's for religions sake though. Just 'cause it passes the time.
I'm weird that way.

All for it. I don't see why we should condemn others for having different tastes to our own. :p

Pro homosexuality. And homosexual myself. Although I am pleased to see so many here who are "straight, but not narrow" (as the Tshirt goes).

I laugh like a drain whenever someone mentions Leviticus - Shellfish? Mixed fibres? Selling people in to slavery? How is that working out for you? Or do you only do the "treat GLBTQ people like shit bit?" What about loving your neighbour? What about not judging? What about all that doing unto others malarky? Or do each of those teachings (and the general overview of the bible being "don't be a dick") have an "except for the queer folks" clause on the end?

And, although I don't bother myself any more, the point of Pride (which a few have mentioned here) is that, just for a day or even just a few hours, it is nice to be in a place where you are no longer a minority. Unless you have felt that, I'm not sure that you will understand. I was born in a small town, I didn't know where the other GLBTQ people were and I didn't have a way to get to them. And one day I went to a Pride and suddenly they were everywhere. It was nice not to feel so alone any more. Plus, in many countries, Pride is still a political movement to bring about safety and rights under the law. Please understand that the float full of twinks dancing in white underwear is just the bit that the media wants you to see.

All we really want is equal rights under the law. I'm old enough now to not really give a crap if someone doesn't "like" me. But no one should be spitting at me, wanting to attack me, wanting to verbally abuse me in the street. Maybe I do look like a stereotypical butch dyke, but it's just funny how those things work out. And yes, maybe I do wear a small pink triangle pin or a rainbow pin or a labrys pin, mostly in remembrance of others. But what I won't do is sit in the closet in case my presence offends someone.

Yup marriage doesn't have to be involved in religion. As an atheist I can still get married. It is a legal contract recognized by the government, those who want to bring their god into it can but not everybody does.

I have no problems with homosexuality, or gay rights. On a more personal side however, all the openly gay people I met so foar turned out to have a pesky "in your face" aproach towards me.

It´s just an obversation.

No problems with homosexuality, nope. I dislike people, of any sexuality, that are in my face about it though. As do my two best friends, who are actually a gay couple (they get incredibly annoyed by gay pride parades and such).

On that topic, they are both Catholics, and pretty much told me that ya know, Jesus said to take kindness upon the minorities of a society and those who are reviled by it, and never really said anything, at all, against homosexuality. So the whole "God thinks it is wrong mmk!" argument is pretty invalid.

So you hate:
Castrations, prevention, abortions, masturbation, homosexuality, and impotent people?

On a more serious topic, what do you think about Baby K?
If you're not familiar with it, here's a Wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_K

I am gay, voted indifferent. I don't support a sexuality - hetero, homo, bi, tran - what's the point? It's science, not a choice.

I almost voted against but realised you weren't questioning 'gay rights'. I am against 'gay rights' not because I don't believe we should be treated equal, but because the gay lobby seem to want to push for 'gay rights above everyone elses rights' which is not something I support. Why should I be able to wear a rainbow flag in the office when a Christian cannot wear a crusifix?

Debatable point, and that depends on when and where you live(d).
Ancient Greece: yeah, everyone knows almost everyone then/there was bi at the very least, and thought little of gay relationships.
Feudal Japan: homosexual companionship was frowned upon for the samurai classes, but largely tolerated.

OT: I'm indifferent. I know it's a biological aberration, but y'know what, I'm OK with it. I have gay friends... I have even more lesbian friends... *shrug*
Where do you find them? In have zero gay friends. Everyone's straight, except for two girls that are bisexual.
LOL, well, I live in a certain place in the UK (ahem, Brighton!) which was (in)famous for it's gay population. No-one really cares these days, but that doesn't exactly lower the gay population. The house next to where I live has three lesbian tenants and two straight guys... so...

It's just that people tend to feel stared or uncomfortable when it comes to homosexuality, I say let us be whatever we want and be judged only by our actions. The last time I checked we don't live in the 1950's anymore so those old ideas about "homosexuality is wrong" must be erased and forgotten.

I am against homosexuality. Part of the reason is because I am christian and in the Bible it clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord.(in Leviticus)
I by no means hate gay people at all I see no reason for it at all, and God tells to only hate the sin but love the sinner
It also is definately is not gentic because I know a pair identical twins, one is gay and the other is not. If it was genetic they would BOTH be gay . Homosexuality is a choice, you chose to be gay.
Abomination back then meant literally: "Against Tradition." Not something unnatural and heinous.

Also check this BB! :D

and this

Respect. :)

If it's victimless, then do as you please. That's what I believe when it comes to homosexuality. In fact, I supported and helped my stepbrother when he came out of the closet and told everyone he was gay. This notion that homosexuality is an aberration must be stopped. Everyone, no matter their sexuality, deserves equal treatment.
