As long as I can see a difference between the character I'm moving and the environment I'm moving around in then for me no game's graphics can be so bad that I can't imagine playing it.
(...if the rest of the game appeals to me that is)

Those are not bad graphics, those are simple graphics. Simple is not bad. You know what's bad? GTA 4 graphics and most of other gray, shit colored games.

It really takes some bad graphics for me to seriously consider it a fault. I like good looking graphics but it's not a deal breaker for me unless other aspects of the game suck aswell.

Graphics I could truly care less about. In the end, as long as a game is fun, I don't care how bad or how good it looks. A game could look like a pile of puke, but if I had fun with it I'd still play it.

These graphics aren't actually that bad, to be honest. A measure of what 'bad' is really depends on hwo you deal with either hardware or self-placed restrictions, not now how many bits, pixels or polygons are involved... entirely. Graphical style can change things too, like the cell-shading used in Wind Waker and Okami, both of which look fantastic if you ask me.

Retro graphics can look pretty bad-ass, though; just look at Megaman 9. It benefits from a kick-ass 8-bit soundtrack too.

I'm not a big fan of stupid arbitrary time-limits, though...

Graphics don't matter that much (if they're good it is always a plus in my book, though) but I just dislike JRPGs so no.

it'd be something of concern, but of course in the end if the game interests me (and doesn't suck across the review boards) it won't stop me from trying

Precisely.

I like graphics that are supposed to be 'bad' (retro style)
What I don't like is where games are supposed to have good graphics, but look terrible.

Um... that video you posted? The super-retro graphics thing is the point. I don't think that counts.

Now, a good example would be this: I'm currently playing System Shock 2 for the first time. I'm really enjoying it, even though the graphics are crap-tacular. But, in order to make things a bit better, I downloaded something that makes the models look better and the textures smoother.

So, my answer would be this: bad graphics don't bother me much, but if I can make them look better, I might as well.

I really dont care what the graphics look like as long as the gameplay is good. I mean I like good graphics, but if the game sucks Im just not gonna play it.

Tons of people could play the most gorgeous game out there, but even more people play Tetris.
