My name's Kit.
I've only heard of a few people with the same name, e.i.: Kit Harrington who plays Jon Snow in A Game Of Thrones and someone I saw in the Doctor Who credits one time. But I realize it's not very rare so I've voted it as fairly rare.

Sean.
Fairly common.
I have a couple of friends that have the same name as me and I find it quite awesome whenever we address each other.

I didn't think Cleo was that common, but I'm not too sure now.

Edit: There are 25725 females in the US named Cleo, so not too common.

My name is Kit, I hate my name so if anypony knows me just call me Ezekiel, anyway here's the thing, yes i'm aware that other people have existed that have the name, Kit Conway etc. but until I incidentally meet someone with the name, i'm not believing that other people exist that have it

I have a fairly common Indian name, but since I live in the US, I suppose it's rare here.

So their is only one other person I know with my name and that name is Maverick. I have no idea why my parents named me Maverick but I think it fits me. With the rest of my siblings they just threw random names from the bible on them.

So escapist how common is your name?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110478/ Depending how old you are, that might fit the bill.

I myself was named Justin Anderson; good luck searching that one.

Tanzi.

Awwww, yeaaaahhh.

In all seriousness, I have an awful lot of trouble with it, from people on the phone thinking I'm making shit up when I order, to purposeful and accidental mispronunciations out of disbelief or ignorance. The equally rare, but not *quite* as off last name certainly doesn;t help.

My name is Corey, which I thought would be rare, but in my school there are three other people with the name Corey in my year of 192 people

i have never heard of that name im Irish that seems to be a very rare name.
Really? What about Fionnula Flanagan (my namesake btw), or Fionnuala Sweeney who hosted ESC in 93? I suppose they're not all that famous, but Flanagan played Data's mother in STNG! That counts for something right? She also played a Vulcan in STE, but I don't know what they were thinking; a Vulcan with an Irish accent?

Yes, I desperate for the name to be known somewhere o_O

Well I know 3 other people named Thor personally. Though one is my uncle, great uncle, and my nephew... So yeah. I have never met anyone outside of my family with the name. Though I'm told in other countries it is a bit more common (though still unusual)
