Kept hearing about a fellow names Yahtzee, didn't think much of it, then I just kept hearing the name on other sites about him being an unbiased critic. I eventually went on to look Yahtzee up, found the first vids on youtube, looked around for more, couldn't find any save for one with Yahtzee saying he'd moved, then I found The escapist. I found the escapist when ZP was on the Eve online review. I just lurked around for a while before joining.

Ha, 84.2% so far. My god, this place would be sparcely populated but for yahtzee.
And, yes, Yahtzee brought me here also. What can I say? The guy's some sort of forceful comedic expulsion machine.
Not to imply that his is the only good production, of course.

Last summer, my friend showed me Zero Punctuation. So, promptly after thinking that it was awesome, I watched every single one over 3 days. After that, I started exploring the site to find that it's pretty damn awesome.

I watched Zero Punctuation at a friend's house and couldn't stand it. Then I watched it again and something clicked and I watched every single episode and then joined the website and got attached to the forums (Y)

Sometime last year my fiance linked me to a Zero Punctuation video. I wasn't actually too keen on it, but I decided to read some of the articles and watch some other videos on the site. A few months later I made an account here.

Anyway, a friend linked me to ZP's ep for No More Heroes cos he knew that that game drove me crazy (mainly I was tired of hearing him rave about it). So, been here about 2 years, but didn't start posting for a loooooooooooong time, I just watched eps and read columns, mostly.

Zero Punctuation, sadly it's the only one I'm actually finding funny to be honest, I might try getting properly into Doomsday, saw about 5 minutes of one episode and chuckled a couple of times, but yeah, ZP's the best, I don't think many people would contradict that statement.

I found Shamus's "20 sided tale" Lord of The Rings role playing epic when searching for something unrelated online. http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?cat=14 I was immediately hooked, and found The Escapist by following Shamus's blog.

But, yea. I started watching Zero Punctuation when Yahtzee first started here on The Escapist. A couple months later, I got interested in the forums, too.
