So I'm feeling rather good right now after having just pumped some iron- cast iron weights that is. I like to keep a healthy balance so every now and then I work out or do some running. In the middle of my work out today I had thought, what kind of exercise does my fellow escapists prefer?

I like running, walking and swimming. It is a good start to the day for me, as it means that I fully wake up and I am healthy. It is also a way for me to think about what I need to do for the day and help me prioritize. Yeah, my daily routine serves multiple functions :)

I run on the treadmill and break it up with some boxing/calisthenics, and I try to do this for at least a half an hour every other day.

Not that much, really, but I'm just starting again. Baby steps.

I do both cardio and weights. It's a pretty big part of my life right now. Two hours, four times a week. I spend about the same amount of time on both.

As a gamer, i dont exercise, but as someone who has a life to maintain, walking and my metabolism keep me from being truly fat.

I bike and run when weather permits. I prefer biking to running, but that doesn't often work out schedule-wise, so I usually end up running.

I wish I could do the top two. I Workout two or three times per week in my gym class advanced fitness, five times a week at home doing the Armstrong pull-up program and every Friday with the Marines at the recruiting station. I'm trying to improve my Marine Corps IST score before I go to bootcamp. Also I'm REAAAALY tired.

I do a little of this a little of that. I recently started running my dogs again, I do about 2 miles in 15 minutes, but its a bit speratic. I also have a bike I can start riding again now that the weather is starting to turn. I also walk the golf course w/ a pull cart w/e I get the chance... disc golf, a day at the lake, jetski/tubing... just w/e really. I also have a 10lbs freeweight and a exercise band for dicking around w/ while at the house.

All said though I do spend a lot of time sitting on my ass as well.

I used to go out running, but I'd be lying if said I still do.

Now I keep in shape by walking everywhere.

I tend to walk a lot, and I cycle regularly, to work and university (despite my university being a walk of around 200m away :p).

About to leave for the gym with my friends in a bit, they're the ones who got me back into lifting weights and I'm glad they did. If at all possible I'd have to encourage anyone to try it out with their friends sometime.

Combination of wii fitness only with the inclusion of weights and walking/food shopping and carrying bags home. Trying to go to the gym just becomes an epic fail.

I do cardio at the gym, and lift weights at home. I also try to get 5-6 games of basketball in a week.

Walking. Lots and lots of walking where I live. I seem to eat fine without even trying, so my weight's not an issue.

I've got a naturally muscular build and loathe lifting. So aside from push-ups, chin-ups, and crunches, I don't do strength training.

I run about 18-24 miles a week (between 3 and 4 miles, six days a week). I do a good bit a swimming also, as I live on the beach and surf quite a bit.
