Poll: How do you feel about Nicholas Cage?

I've heard some people like him and some people REEEEALY hate him and I was just wondering what you all think and why.
I personally think he's a decent actor.

Kinda like Ahhnold or other type cast actors, he tends to play himself. But... Sometimes a bit of Nicholas Cage is exactly what a movie needs.

I like him, and he makes his shitty movies watchable.

Nicolas Cage is one of my favourite actors. He isn't in the same league as the king himself, Robert de Niro, or even Al Pacino and he doesn't have their range of acting skills but none the less he is somewhat compelling and in a class of his own. Plus no-one does crazy like he does.
I suspect he is like marmite, you either love him or hate him but the movie world would be a little poorer without him.

I'm gonna level with ya, I've never watched a film with him in. Not deliberately, it's just never happened.

He just gets put into movies he shouldn't be in and sometimes looks like a pedophile. He was good in Kick Ass though.

I like him, although he gets some crap roles.

For instance, he was brilliant in Face/Off and Kickass, but The Wickerman, Ghost Rider and National Treasure were abysmal.
