This is basically my opinion as well. I'm pretty indifferent about swearing and I'll just ignore it if I see or hear it used every now and then, although it does start to annoy me if every other word that a person uses is a swear. I use to try and avoid swearing as much as possible, but at one point I just said to hell with it and stopped caring as much. I do try completely avoid swearing when I'm with family or out in public just to be polite, but if I'm on the Xbox with friends and no one else is in the house I do tend to swear fairly often, but that's about the only time that I do use a lot of profanity.Jonluw said:Couldn't give less of a fuck.
I tend to moderate my language when I'm around a friend of the family who happens to be a priest, but otherwise I swear quite regularly. Both for emphasis and to relieve frustration.
I'm not from Scotland but I'm constantly on skype calls and talking to a boy from Scotland...well few boys....but one in particular. He tells me I sound like I'm from despite my American accent. Though I've been told by other guys in England that I occasionally develop a nice Glasgow accent if I get angry/tired enough.ms_sunlight said:I'm originally from Scotland. What do you think? I have a mouth like a sewer.
I'm reminded of this:Blue Deity said:Profanity is fine when it makes sense in context.
It starts bugging me when you're watching a movie and all the characters are saying fuck all the time as if the writers wanted to pad out the script
