Some stealth games are a bit different now a days so i want to know what kind of stealth games do you like?

That is to say, I hate forced stealth in a game.
That. Something like Dishonored, if that makes sense. If you give me too many toys, I'll go kill everyone instead. If you make me try to make the stealth fun and creative, I'll take stealth.Luca72 said:Semi pro is closest to my preference. I like stealth utilities almost as much as I like stealth itself. This is the Thief, Deus Ex or Splinter Cell (up to Chaos Theory) approach, where you can't really brute force your way through a level, but you have enough tools to creatively get out of a situation if you're caught instead of just getting a failure screen.
I'm inclined to agree... mainly because I've spent the last three weeks addicted to that game... -_-thesilentman said:That. Something like Dishonored, if that makes sense. Those Thief games really do seem interesting, thanks for sharing, you have peaked my interest. I know very little about these games so now I am looking into them a bit more. But with the steam sale and christmas coming up, I have to be careful about running into any purchase for the next few monthes.Anthraxus said:Get This... http://www.gog.com/gamecard/thief_gold and this.. http://www.gog.com/gamecard/thief_2_the_metal_age then throw this..http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.389431-System-Shock-2-Thief-2-Get-Surprise-Patcheson Thief 2 on Thief 2. Best stealth games right here.
Don't forget those great fan made missions I referenced either. As far as Splinter Cell goes, the best one is Chaos Theory. And I'd play the original Deus Ex before/over HR, btw.
