I applaud your honesty. And wit.

I tend to attempt to be sneaky. And then end up going for run and gun with a weapon set otherwise designed for sneaky. Which works surprisingly well. In MW2, anyway. Although I have a kill-cam dance for when I sneak up on a sniper from behind.
Aim, change weapon, change back, spin around, aim, headshot. Occasionally headshot is replaced by stab. And if the sniper is prone, the whole thing will be replaced with a pre-emptive teabagging. It's a shame that no-one watches kill-cams, really...

Halo games, I tend to alternate between heavy and sniper, with a small amount of sneaky thrown in. I just like taking out opponents who don't expect it.

i use wit, guile, or just brazen unexpected stupidity to get in close and bathe death on my enemies. i am the guy that will unexpectedly run across an open field in a hail of machine gun fire so i can stick my sub machine gun in your mouth before i pull the trigger. the one that gets behind your front line and ends up killing half of your team before any one can say 'Behind Us!'.

varies massively! MW2 to Unreal tournie to borderlands to Counterstrike, you have to use different tactics in everygame or you will not succeed!

I voted for sneaky, but it more depends on the game. Fallout 3 I usually play sneak the first half, and at a point I'm pretty much a tank (especially when my character was level 30, all stats 95+ and specials at 9 with hellfire armor). STALKER, always sneaky. FEAR, run and gun. Borderlands, now that I'm over leveled, in their face run and gun. Multiplayer, like CoD4/5, I cannot sit in the same place for more than a few seconds. I have to constantly be running around.

I melee as much as concievably possible. I don't even try to be sneaky about it, I just equip the weapon that looks the pointiest and pistol-whip all the live-long day.

I play with a controller, but I still feel I stumbled into online multiplayer accidentally. Originally on the PC, as it happens. A group of us put it onto the school computer network as a way to kill free periods, so I started playing online at home to make sure I could compete. I wasn't the only one. (Halo 1. Yay!).
Then I got a used 360, and found that the previous owner hadn't used their free month's trial for xbox live. And so I got hooked. (full circle, as Halo 3 was the game I played first over live)

depends on the game, but I usually snipe if I like the sniping mechanics, like in MW2 (before I sold it for MAG) the sniping is really good in that game, so I sniped.

mag, the sniping is fairly good, so I snipe.

counter strike; I cannot stand the sniping in that game, so I usually stealth or run'n'gun

halo, I usually use shotties when I play

killzone, it largely depends on the situation.

Depends on the mood, sometimes I like to run in with an Assault rifle or LMG and go nuts, sometimes I like to take a Sniper off to the edge and pick my targets, and sometimes I like to sneakily flank the enemy from the rear and shoot them all in their backs.

it really depends on the game. Halo is very different from R6V2.

I think you'll see a lot of overlap in the "Sneaky" and "Sniper" camps.

I put a lot of emphasis on firing as few shots as possible.

Naturally, I'm not very good.

Ah hem. Usually run and gun. Into the same death. Over and over. I like to mix it up sometimes, but mostly my default style is to run around like a mentalist and shoot anything that moves, regardless of team affiliations.

I play badly, I'm not into FPS games very much and don't have the reflexs for it. It's a rare game of the type that has me play them anyway. Bioshock is an example even though I only played Bioshock 2 single player. "Red Dead Redemption" is a third person shooter but I liked it enough where I did the multiplayer a bit, though I'm embarassingly horrible at it.
