I almost always play good.

playing evil just feels abit shotty.

even though my ex-girlfriend dumped me saying I was 'too pure'

Good, because real life taught that being evil is far too easy. I don't dig easy games.

Although the first two Fallouts really had me stealing from as many people as possible, even though I was helping every single troubled soul in the land.

Like a altruist kleptomaniac.

I play good in games like Fable, since I like to hear all the compliments. One day in Fable 2, however, I got tired of the looping phrases the NPCs said. So I drew in a large crowd with my lute, cast a time stop, and fried the entire crowd with electricity. T'was fun, but the town's entire economy was destroyed in one fell swoop.

Most of the time the first playthrough will have me acting as I would in real life, so good. I do always go back and play as evil as well though. It's usually more fun, but I always feel obligated to do a good playthrough first anyway.

There are very few (if any) games though that I feel do morality and moral choices correctly.
Yeah, I agree, Good on first play, evil on second. Most games it doesn't matter, but in KOTOR, I wasmorally compelled to be good (but with a red lightsabre).

I always find more satisfaction in being the highly held, stalwart hero of the land rather than the brooding, baby eating puppy raping bastard which you become by taking the bad guy approach in rpgs.

Everytime i try to play an evil character i always end up feeling bad and starting to do good. For Example
In Dragon Age Origins when you have the choice between helping the town of Redcliff and leaving it to the mercy of the undead. I chose to leave and left them to certain doom. When Ban Teagan called me on it I felt so much regret that i reloaded my last save and saved the town.
Is that weird?

neutral is the way, i usually like to steal and mayby kill everything thats not bolted to ground and not moving, but essentially im not doing it for being evil. in d&d you'd say im chaotic neutral.

My first playthrough is usually good, then I either do evil, or act how I would if I were in the situation. After that, I do what is left.

I play as good, but not through any morality, but rather I might need some NPC later on. I don't want to kill/alienate someone who can save me.

Neutral. I generally try to react to situations in-game as I would were I presented with the situation myself, in real life. In the character's shoes, of course.

...unless a specific option has an obvious benefit or drawback, compared to the others.
