I buy a hotdog from the nice vendor near my safehouse. Then I head over to perseaus for a suit. Then I call my cousin and invite him to a MASSACRE!!!

It depends on the game. In a game like Morrowind where I'm supposed to be everyone's savior, I play a little nicer. In Fallout 3 on the other hand, where everyone is already a total jerk, I feel well within my rights to take the total sociopath route.

depends on the game. in fallout 3 I don't think I killed a single civilian... in saints row however... well I generally avoid causing mayhem when on missions simply because it takes up too much time. but every now and again when I fail a mission again or get bored with them... and then you'd best be a brick in the road or a tree or something and MAYBE you won't get your ass blown up. but if it moves, it dies. oh and when driving around and the road has a few too many cars, I just take the sidewalk, that only has a few speedbumps ;)

Genocide for laughs.

I can't do whatever I feel like IRL, so it's nice to have a IRL-ish setting where it is possible, and I see no reason to do it in moderation.

In most sandbox games I kill anything in my field of vision, unless I'm playing on an extremely hard difficulty where law enforcement will tear me to shreds, in which case I'm a model citizen (while the cops are looking).

In Fallout 3 I kill everything that shoots me first and I steal from everyone else.

I adopt a completely new personality in sandbox games. Usually I am quiet, but in sandbox games I'll kill anyone who looks at me funny, and then shoot up anything near to or around him/her.

Well, that depends on if I have a choice. If there's a morality system, then I simply cannot be bad. It's impossible for me. If not, however... OUT OF MY WAY, PEDESTRIANS! HAHAHAHAHA!

For me it really depends not only on the game, but what's going on inside the game at the time. If I'm just driving along from point A to point B, I don't usually make it a point to ride the sidewalk and mow down as many people as possible, just for kicks. However, if I'm on a mission or in a shootout and people get in my way, then any previous boundaries go out the window. If you're in my way, then you're dead.

The same applies for dick-headed pedestrians or drivers who hit you while you're trying to cross the street. If I'm running through an intersection in SR2 and someone bumps into me, they are getting an Annihilator rocket up the ass, guaranteed.

In sum, I don't know if I fit into any category neatly. I just go on about my business, but God help you if you get in my way.

TriggerHappy style of course! :D

- just grab as many weapons as you can carry and just blast away at all the enemies (and innocent civilians ^^)

I just go on my way doing the missions and collecting the extras and minimize civilian casualties but only cause I feel it's more challenging to avoid killing civilians than ignoring them and running over them all the time although sometimes it's unavoidable.

Usually my first play through i make the choices i think i would in real life. Then i play like either satan or jesus in later runs through the game.

I've only ever killed a civilian in Crackdown with explosives, and always because I couldn't see them due to the draw distance.

Generally, I tend not to go on kill-crazy rampages. Unless I'm playing Saints Row 2.

I have to say, I have gone into GTA 4's online before with all the cars and pedestrians turned off and just run around imagining some variety of zombie apocalypse/I Am Legend scenario. Mostly I play sandbox games kinda recklessly, whilst trying to preserve my car, bike, flaming bus, although we all know how awesome it is to just let loose in algonquin once in a while and skid around the streets with an online mate, throwing molotov cocktails at anything that so much as flinches. Anyone agree? XD

Lots of people pick to be evil because in real life they can't be. I choose to be the super-heroic defender of the world because in real life I'm pretty useless. I talk my way out of fights, avoid conflict, and try to find the best solution and it makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Also, I spend a lot of time randomly walking about looking for cool stuff to do.
