I'll leave the decision of which one I am talking about up to you.

MMORPG --> Ma-Mor-Pa-Ga
FAQ --> Fack
how long until...
OMG --> Ohm-ga
WTF --> wha-tifff
I mean seriously people; what's with it? you're not being "cute" you're being annoying...
I know it's common, I'm just wondering HOW commonDustyDrB said:I say "fack" for FAQ. I can't remember a time when I didn't say "fack".
And like many people have pointed out, this isn't an isolated case. It happens all the time. No need to freak out about it like this guy...Pick your battles, fella.WOPR said:the normal way is "F.A.Q." because it's an acronym; I have no clue when people started trying to pronounce acronyms...C95J said:The normal way...

Help! I'm mired in pedantry and I can't get out!Plazmatic said:There is only one way to say FAQ as a acronym, and that is FAK (by the way FACK is saying faek or fuck and fak at the same time, not really F as in fish, A as in rat and k as in yak.)
However you can still say EFF AE CUE (yeah you messed up on that one too, QUE would be KWOU) with out being incorrect, you simply are not using it in acronomic form, and you as well can say frequently asked questions, you aren't even using the acronym at all that way.
completely true, however, you would use a representation of even those word sounds as trak bak etc, and then counting fack is already used as a word, (a less hostile and comical form of "fuck" ) you cant use fack to represent the sound of faqParivir said:I present the words back, track, whack and smack.
