Poll: How do YOU pronounce "hentai"?

Apologies if this has been done before, but it's late and I didn't feel like using the search bar.

Anyway, as some of you might know, I went to an anime convention in June with a group of my friends. Well, apparently it's difficult to talk about anime in my group without hentai being brought up (no idea why, we're just weird like that). But it seems we can't agree on how it's pronounced. Half of my group (myself included) believe it's pronounced "hen-tie", while the other half think it's "hen-tay". I have heard both used, so I'm not looking for which one is "correct", per se. I'm more wondering which is more common.

Hen-tie, I've never heard it pronounced any other way.

I've never actually hear it pronounced at all. It's just not something that gets brought up in conversation.

Also, doesnt hentai also mean to change/transform on top of it being linked to something perverted?

When I want to get an opinion on something, I find it easy to ask a question on here. People love answering questions, so it makes sense to me (then again, I am a tad loony)
