I pronounce it Hen-Tay, but apparently I am going to change my pronunciation. Anyways, I'd wish I learned Japanese.

I've never actually hear it pronounced at all. It's just not something that gets brought up in conversation.
You obviously don't know my friends. Let's just say I learned quickly not to look at what they where doing on their PSP without asking first.

Anyway, as several people have said, it's pronounced "hen-tie".

He-n-tie, because that's how I've heard the japanese say it in animes. Who am I to call them wrong?

How do you pronounce Cthulhu anyways?
You're really not supposed to. H.P. Lovecraft's work was about things beyond our imaginations, and therefore having words that you aren't supposed to pronounce since you're not an alien god. Personally, when I have to say it, I pronounce it Kuh-thoo-loo. Though you can pronounce Nyarlahotop, if I'm spelling that right, since that's his human name. Don't ask me how to say it, since I'm not even sure if I'm saying it correctly.

Hen-tie. I used to pronounce it the latter way, but got corrected by someone else. And, the latter sounds too much like the Pokemon Entei, and they aren't things I want to get someone else confused about.
Probably a smart move not to mix those two.
imagine the conversation between two people
"hey I got you the hentay you asked for"
"what no I asked for your entei not hentai"

I was gonna put this funny image of a hen wearing a tie of sorts, but I'm honestly too lazy to do it.

So just use your imaginations and imagine how funny it would have been.

Hen-Tie......

This reminds me of a time I pronounced Yaoi as Yowie. It was a slip of the tounge.
Isn't that how you pronounce it? :S
I believe it's pronounced as Yah-Oi.
Evidence suggests the former.

Also, as mentioned by the post about Japanese vowels, the Hiragana spelling would result in the pronounciation of "YAH-OH-EE".
