Hen-tie. I used to pronounce it the latter way, but got corrected by someone else. And, the latter sounds too much like the Pokemon Entei, and they aren't things I want to get someone else confused about.

Although Rule 34 dictates that they have been mixed.

It's a Japanese word, Thusly, HEN-TIE- is the Japanese pronunciation.
HEN-TAE is an 'Americanization', And thusly, Sounds a little stupid.

Everytime I hear the word "Hentai", the godforsaken images I've accidentally seen on the net suddenly flashes in my mind. Damn Rule 34, you cause me so much pain.
"Hen-tay" on the other hand sounds like the name of some place in Tanzania.
