Zee. Both are correct. One is not more correct than the other. It's a cultural difference. Get over it.

They are interchangeable to me. I'll call it the letter zed but also say the alphabet goes from a to zee.

Consistency is for the stable minded.

EDIT: I picked other for the lack of a "both" option.

Zed. You know, like near-enough the rest of the entire English-speaking world, and similar to how most Indo-European languages pronounce it too (derived of course from "zeta").

To me, "zee" sounds like it was made up by someone incapable of pronouncing "zed" or "zeta" properly. Hopefully it was because they didn't have a functional tongue, and not just because they were too lazy to use it.

I alternate between 'zed' and 'zee' although it's usually pronounced 'zed' in jolly ol' England.

Zee.

How about the number 0?

I've heard Eddie Izzard and other europeans say "not" instead of "zero" Is that common?

"five, four, three, two, one, not, then what?" (on the B.C. A.D. changover)
