Poll: How do you rate your own appearance?

Personally, out of ten I'd rate myself a 5. Pretty damn average. Not a stud, but people aren't clawing out their eyes when they look at me.

My girlfriend tells me I'm handsome, but I fear she wears rose-coloured glasses.

By my understanding of the nebulous 1-10 rating system, in which 5 is par (not bad, but not good), I'm a 7 on days when I stay relatively maintained, and as low as a 4 after playing addicting, time-consuming games like Fallout New Vegas and neglecting showering in favor of bottle caps.

I would rate myself 'an ugly boy' at the moment but because of my atrocious hair, if I had my hair cut decently I could push that up to OK I think, but I just really can't be bothered right now.

I consider myself to be rather good looking, that opinion is reinforced by the the girls I've dated that have most been very beautiful, but I have never been able to keep them for longer than a month maybe. My friends say the reason for that is that I'm too feminine... so I guess I'm screwed.

I've had girls compliment my eyes before. I don't know if there's some underlying meaning to that, but I'll take what I can get.
If I didn't have zits I'd probably look pretty snazzy. Because of them I'm just okay.

Tough question, see, in regards to face, im pretty good, I reckon a 7/10. However, good looks also includes the body, this is where I fall down. I'm over weight, I carrly most of it on my torso, so I have a touch of the moobs going, and I'm very hairy, so thats a 3/10.

So, over all, I dunno, 5/10?

Though from your recent string of posts in other threads, I can see that the assumption may not be too far off, but I sincerely hope that is not the case. Oh well, hope you get better, brother!

I don't have any independent confirmation, but I think I'm fugly. Also, whenever a picture is taken of me, I look all dopey, probably cause of my lazy eye.

I'm a straight guy, so I'm probably not the best judge, but you're not fugly. You look pretty good, you're definitely attractive to a good amount of women. But that's based on looks alone, your lack of confidence would probably bring their attraction level down.

I've never been complimented on my looks, and it's really hard to judge myself because I don't have a good opinion of my physical appearance, but I figure if I lost some weight, had a clean non acne ridden face and was taller I'd probably be a little above average perhaps?

Well, thanks. I'm not entirely convinced, because I normally wear glasses, and also I'm not very athletic. I could work on that though, just need to get around to it.

I'm a good looking guy. I think. In all honesty, as long as I think I look good, thats all that matters on that subject.

Edit: Heh. I see a lot of the typical "I don't look good, boo-hoo" stuff going on. Have some self-confidence people...holy shit.

Hmm... I'm not sure I'm good-looking, exactly, but a little more so than the uncertainty in option 3 suggests.
Meh - rating your own appearance is hard. A guy who was trying to hit on me insisted I was 'very cute, and kinda hot', but 1)he was drunk, and 2) I'm a straight guy. So don't really know how to take that one... But it happens surprisingly often.

There's a photo in my profile, but it's not that great. And a quick check of facebook reveals that I'm slightly inebriated in most photos of me...
Sure, as it stands it wouldn't hurt me to lose a little weight, and I'm kinda short, but overall, meh. 6-7 out of 10. 7-8 on a good day.
