I'm extremely sexist in my views. Any male virgin over the age of 18... I can't really help but look down on them. I'm a pretty big nerd, and since even I managed to get laid, I believe that anyone can. I know this is unfair, I really do, but I'm being honest about it here. I'm sorry.

When it comes to girls, I love innocence. Girls should stay virgins for as long as possible. My fiancée and me waited 3 years, and we're not even religious. Again; it's a highly unfair view, but I'm just being honest.

They are simply pathetic.
Social outcasts who cling to other avenues in the hope that the hole in their life will be filled through escapist actitivities.
I guess they would not see themselves as pathetic ( though some do) but I pity them.
Much like the pity for gollum who forgot the warmth of the sun and the taste of food.
The world is a harsh place and not everyone can be a winner at everything.
Oh and to the male cybergeeks who have cos play fantasy's and have Im'd me
I will not, I repeat, I will not dress you up like Catwoman, tie you up with Wonder Woman's Golden Lasso, and force you to confess your love for me! You really need help, perhaps even more help than I can possibly provide you. So go take a cold shower, put on some normal clothing, stand in front of a mirror and repeat the following one hundred times: "I am not a superheroine, my name is (your real name here)."
(assuming your not joking)

yeah those bloody virgins, really why do they even bother with life at all? seriously if you havnt lost it by the time your 21 then you should all be round up and shot execution style for contaminating the world with your pathetic virginess

ok but seriously how dose not having sex make you pathetic? its not liek sex is a huge acheivment as curing cancer, people are virgins for all kinds of reasons

I havnt done it, Im not saving it for marrage or that "special person" Its not really a big deal to me, Im just not particually social and therefore havnt really been in the situation and I certainly wouldnt go out and sleep with any random guy "just to have Ive done it" if you ask me THATS pathetic

oh but Im sorry but am I steping out of my place replying to you? being part of the glorious non-virgin master race?

You know what's good about putting yourself on such a high pedestal? Eventually someone is going to knock you off of it, and you'll be down here with all the regular people and you'll realize you're not as great as you think you are...

Wait... how the hell does that even work? Guys should have sex as long as possible but girls should hold off as long as possible? I don't know what you've learnt but its either one or the other... unless you're into having sex with animals but that's a completely different topic.

Depends on how they view sex, or relationships as a whole. I personally don't care. It's a choice, whether or not they go for it.

I like the idea of someone who saves it for marraige. (or at least true love) I still hold on to my idealistic teenage beliefs about sex being something to hold in high regard. Sure its easy to get, but it wont mean as much if its easy all the time.
I like your outlook on things.

I once saw a speaker compare casual sex to duct tape. He took a strip of duct tape, and put it on the arm of a random audience member in the front row. Then, he peeled it off. The person said it hurt, and it left a red mark. Then he went to the person next to them, and stuck the piece on them. He peeled it off, and they said it hurt a little. He went all down the front row doing this, until the piece of tape didn't stick at all anymore.

He explained the point of that was to demonstrate how casual sex felt to him when he did it as a teenager. Sure, it was great at first, but because there was no love or emotion behind it, it just lost is potency, until it wasn't anything special anymore.

People have also written books about vampires that glitter in sunlight... what's your point? Not all sex is meaningless, I never said that: it can be a pure expression of your love towards another person (not to mention to whole baby-making thing). But having sex just to have sex so society doesn't view you as a hopeless loser is meaningless in my opinion.
Well, first off, there is a difference between a hack like Stephenie Meyer and the greatest poets the world's ever known. Sex is the central theme of Goethe's Faust and Boccaccio's Decameron, two of the best and most important literary works in the history of Western culture - among many, MANY others.

As for the rest, I misunderstood you, and I apologise. I thought you meant that the act was per se meaningless.

But yeah, while sex even just for the sake of sex can be great, having sex just to get rid of peer pressure is stupid, especially since it demeans the act. We're absolutely agreed on that. I like what they used to do in Italy: When a boy turned 14, his dad or uncle would take him to a whorehouse, just so the kid got it out of his system. Any pressure was gone, and he could treat sex like a normal aspect of life.
How DARE you insult hacks... :p

Don't worry about it. I probably didn't express myself very well (it tends to happen quite a bit).

I already said that it's an unfair view. That's the opposite of bragging. Still attacking me over something I KNOW is a stupid point of view is, well, stupid.

I view them as someone who has not had sex. Their reason is their own, I'm not going to judge them one way or another.
That should have ended the thread right there.

I hate to admit it, but I do feel a certain sense of superiority over virgins. Just because most of my friends are, and they've always been the proud, snooty type, and me having something that they don't always irked them. Or being better than them at something. So most virgins I know are passively jealous. Although my best friend who has had sex is jealous, because I have sex within a stable relationship, and he's only had a few drunken slings that didn't even last till the next morning.

All in all, I have very little regard to this distinguisher, but my feelings at all are that they lose a little of my respect. Relationships are a very worthwhile pursuit, anyone who thinks otherwise tends to be kidding themselves.

Making a stupid point and not expecting someone to call you up on it purely because you stated it to be an "unfair point" is kind of stupid as well. If you knew it was a stupid point of view, why express it?

Because this thread asks me to? At least I fully realize that my opinion doesn't make that much sense, but that doesn't stop me from expressing it.

This thread asks me how I feel about this matter, I express my feelings, apologize on beforehand so that the amount of people that I offend is highly limited.

Again: sorry.

There are so many reasons someone might not have had sex yet, I think its none of my damn business and likewise I'd like people to leave it alone in regards to me.

It could be religious, maybe they're old fashioned and waiting for marriage (their prerogative), maybe they are focusing on work at the moment, maybe they aren't attractive to the opposite sex and they're trying - too many possible explanations for me to care.

Fair enough. It reminds me of the Australian mentality how you can say the wrongest shit to someone as long as you start it with "No offence". Like, "No offence, but you're the uglist person I've ever seen".

Well people are virgins for various reasons. Thus making a virgin no different to a promiscuous person. This question strikes me as odd. How would you even know? If we're talking generally then well...there is no generally. People are people and each is individual.
