WE MUST FILM THEM. FILM ALL OF THEM. THEY MUST BE FILMED
I am always open to be filmed as long as there is money in it for me. "I need to share my story with the world because the movieTiptoes did such a bad job at it."

Tiny little human.
Well... What can i say.
Ooooh, I thought you meant 6 feet and 1-2 inches. So you're actually 6'6"?

Hail comrade, it is good to be this tall, no?
It can be but I already have back pain and a slight sternum deformity. It is probably going to get worse since i am still 16.
Nah, the worst is over. You're most likely not going to grow much more than that.
Not according to my Dr.
Its part of the territory. I must admit I cant imagine being short(er). Pros/Cons for everything.

*cough*

They're just people with a physical deformity, no need to overcomplicate it, they're regular people but really really short.
I would hardly call it a deformity. it is more like a condition. deformity implies there is something wrong.

I prefer to roll an elf or human personally as I don't really enjoy tanking.

Also, really? an add for Cillit bang as my captcha?

As normal people. That's what they are at the end of the day. If someone of a shorter stature walked by me in the street I would just walk past them, unless they needed my assistance or something.

From Above.

Bad of me I know, but on a more serious note: They are just normal people of an unusual height, I got no issues with that.

I view them as people with a rather extensive physical disability. No more, no less.

My mother's creeped the fuck out by them, though.

But even she can't deny that Peter Dinklage kicks ass.

What's a dwarf? I'd rate a guy less than 1,60 metres tall as a dwarf already.

What's there to say? They're people just like, well, people. Although I do think they have some sort of tendency to get defensive or agressive quicker than others. Maybe it's some kind of compensation mechanism.
that is just the individual person. as one of the tallest little people in america i am not insecure. what if i was to say that all tall people automatically get their panties in a bunch when someone brings up race? every tall person would be flaming me with in an instance and i probably would get a warning.

They just happen to be shorter than the average person...by a lot but I see them as normal though IO keep on wondering to myself "shouldn't they have beards?"

Umm, there is something wrong, their limbs are about half the normal length. It's hardly a devastatingly crippling condition but it is a deformity. Besides, 'condition' means nothing, it's a wishy-washy tiptoe word used when you don't trust someone not to go spit-flinging mental at a harmless discussion.
i guess this is kind of about semantics

facts:
There are more than 200 kinds of dwarfism.
some of them have disproportional limbs, others don't.

So only some types are deformities?

"Little people" just brings Lilliput to mind.

It's strange, it seems that dwarves are one of the few groups of people who look different to normal but still have jokes made about them. With almost any other similar group, people would feel that they were breaking some sort of taboo by even mentioning it.

Completely normal, but tbh it would take a while for me to relax around one. I have a habit of worrying where I look or what I say in that type of situation annoyingly.

jesus do people really not know that dwarf/midget are different types of terms used for 'shorter than your average bear' people?

at first i went into this thread thinking fantasy dwarves..which i hate them

but shorter people in real life? I see no problem, i'm shorter to quite a few people i know and we get along just fine so why should I judge someone based on height?
