Poll: How do you view the Halo series?

Great. It is. But I see why everyone hates the Halo 3 campaign.

The Halo series is good. But I'd rather comment on the poll itself. It's the most balanced poll I've seen in a long time. It has 2 sets of polar opposites (great/terrible, good/bad) and middleground. It's quite rare that you see a poll this nice.

Okay sorry for going off on that little tangent, but I've always wanted to do that. But yeah, Halo is good. Not exactly great, but very high above average.

rhe story's kinda gone downhill since 2, i think if they just tie up the loose ends it would be better, god lets hope for the best when halo reach comes out

I'm a Halo nerd. It's one of my favorite series in all of gaming. Mostly because I am a big science fiction fan and the storylines in the Halo games and novels are pretty entertaining. Plus, the Spartans are pretty fun protagonists that are easy to project yourself onto.

Halo: CE - The best nothing will ever beat it.
H2 - Meh too much multiplayer not enough story, didnt mind arby mind.
H3- Plesent enough ending, poor quality graphically, unbalenced multiplayer.
HW - Never played cept demo not a RTS on controller person.
H:ODST - Fresher charectors but poor game, far to slow paced.

Above average, fun alien weapons (sword ftw), vehicle sections are actually fun, nice alien designs, decent multiplayer.

The soundtracks are superb though

Halo: CE - revolutionized console FPS games, one of the greats
Halo 2 - good multiplayer, bad campaign
Halo 3 - worse multiplayer, slightly better campaign
Halo 3: ODST - firefight failed, campaign was the worse so far
Halo Wars - decent for a console RTS, bad when compared to PC RTS

Overall, I give Halo an OK rating. But it seems like the good days are over and it's going downhill now.

I like the whole series. Thought halo 2 and halo wars were just average though. I loved halo 1 and ODST. I think ODST is probably one of the best fps's out there.

In the end, everyone has a side. Im on team halo, but I can see why people dont like it. But Im MLG so anything where I can beat three of my friends at once in Im all for^_^
