yyyy/mm/dd

The official stance on how to write it in Canada. (although many people do use mm/dd/yyyy and dd/mm/yyyy it gets confusing)

When I write it for personal use, I use Year-month-day. This is the standard in Japan, but I use it because it's the most logical and consistent with number systems in general;

After all, if you write 123865.2 The least significant part is on the right, and the most significant on the left. And in a date, the most significant (largest) part is the year, and the least significant is the day.

Of course, since my chosen format goes against the standards of every country I've ever lived in, when dealing with official documents I write it Day-month-year, as dictated by the standards of most countries.

Hey, watch it! I had a pumpkin and some mice out there! I'm not going to pay parking taxes for a coach and food for horses, no sir...

Also, D/M/Y like any reasonable person would. Reasonable always being the poll's leading option of course.
Huh? I'm pretty sure I invoked the power to block bullets with my guitar.

I hate using Month/Day/Year.

I still remember, when I was first taught it, that I just thought it was STUPID. It didn't make any sense, especially when compared to other, more organized (and probably with more European origin) systems.

But I'm pretty sure this and the lack of the metric system are still just America's way to flip Britain the bird. We used to hate them before we were better than them*, you know.

*And by better than them, I obviously don't mean the people- I mean the military (and sometimes economic/industrial) power of the nation. Derp. Inb4someone misquotes/argues w/ me anyway. *rolls eyes* lol.

M\D\Y

Actualy, it's more of M-D-Y because I use dashes instead of the slashes some people use.

It's just easier for me, it was how I was always taught and it will always be the way I do it.

There's a chronology to it

The right way :p though apparently my tutor now wants me to be writing it backwards. Supposedly it sorts better if you do year-month-day. Which it does, I guess.
