The only time I forget things is when I enter a conversation with someone, then everything leaves the building (My mind) and I'm left there standing around like an idiot, the moment the conversation is over and the person leaves I remember everything... -.-

I'm always losing stuff around the house.

Right now I can't find my iPhone. Worse, I turned the ringer off because I was at the movies last night. o_o

Birthdays and names are my main offenders...

Otherwise I have a pretty good memory...

If it weren't for my internet-talky box I would NEVER know the date, but my short-term memory is just shot, due to copious indulgences of herbal remedies. I can remember things from when I was 3, remember whole conversations years after the fact, remember someone's name even if i haven't seen or spoke to them in 10 years. Sometimes it feels like I can time travel, due to my amazing long-term memory.

But ask me what happened in a show 5 minutes ago, or what I was just doing, and I usually draw a blank. I do have a good memory, it just takes a few hours or so to process and percolate, and until it's processed it's a mystery to me.

Most of the time when I forget things, I remember that there's something I've forgotten. I just can't remember what.

What day is it?

Although to be fair I consider it justified as my working day begins at 4:15am, and I recently worked 12 days in a row.

My short term memory is so bad it actually scares me sometimes. Like forgetting what I had eaten for my previous meal and things like that.

I certainly have my moments.

I'd relate them to you but I can't remember them.

I forget what people or even i said, it gets me in a lot of arguments with my GF especially since she's always trying to make me remember the exact word i or she said and making me feel insecure about it, she's synestesic so she has good memory. Im good at remembering technical stuff.

I think "Where are my keys?" best sums up my forgetfulness. It's mostly "absent-mindedness" but I make a hobby of forgetting what people said two seconds ago...funny, I don't remember starting a post. Oh well.

I'm very fogetful, it's annoying to myself and other people. It's not a lack of interest, it's just that I can't keep a focus *squirrel!* on anything. My mind wonders of sometimes without any notice of vacation. Some people think I am plain stupid but people who know me better know that that is not the case.
Luckaly the lapse of memory is filled up with lots of creativity so it's not all bad.
