I'm in High School, 11th grade. I'm still not sure where I want to go to college.
In current global economy you want to go to college, just my advice. Its a good place to hide till things pick up and when yiu get out there be a whole bunch of companies looking to restaff witht the cheapest labour thats qualified tehy can find , which happen to be graduates.

I've done a BSc in Pharmacology and PhD in Neuroscience. Still at university, although employed rather than studying.

I hate to admit it, but I was expelled from my high school.
My mother died, I missed two weeks of school, and knowing that, they expelled me.

Oh well, I do crew work for a band anyways, so my job requires more hands on experience than anything else.

our school system is a bit different here, so let me explain (sorry for the long and boring explaination).

this is our school path

you go one year to preschool
then 6 years of primary school
then 5 years of high school.
there you have 3 choice :
go for a professional school : from 1 to 3 years. mostly manual jobs (plumber, electrician, secretary, etc.)
go for a college degree : 3 years you get a technical DEC (diplome d'étude collegial) wich is below a uni degree, but higher than a professional one, it's part general courses (philosophy, french, english, etc) and specific course (specific to your study)(ex. police, lab technician, nurse, dentist assistant, etc.)
go for a general college degree : 2 years, only general course. you get a general DEC, either in pure science or human science. usually it's for going to university after.
to go to university you either need a DEC (technical or general) or work experience
University : 3 years your get a bachelor then a master, then a doctorate

you can also get two other diploma, an AEC, wich is part of a DEC (college, the 3 years one). which is most of the technical courses striped of the general courses and a few technical ones.)

and a certificate. that's part of a bachelor. Usually 3 certificate make a bachelor.

i've drop-out after a year of general college when i was 17. now at 30 i've just started an AEC, two or 3 night per week for 2 years, in computers and programing.

Currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery so basically medicine. After 3 more years (plus maybe an optional research year) I get the degree, but then I have to do a year as an intern to become a registered doctor.

Then I'll undertake additional training from around 3 years for General Practice or more 5-7 (surgery, radiology etc)

Finished high school (this is in South Africa, btw), did two years of a Bachelor's degree in music (classical composition), flunked out (stupid practical requirements grr...), now studying towards a Diploma in sound engineering, which I then plan to take to an Advanced Diploma, and finally study a year or so at SAE (who have opened a South African campus now) to turn it into a Bachelor's Degree, then work from there.

I'd love to do a Master's, I miss academia so much... :(

I'm on my third year of attempting an Electrical Engineering degree. I think it's a fun subject, but I have NO idea of what I'm going to do with it.

Meh, not really.
I live in Florida and the school system is notoriously terrible here.

Have an HNC level qualification in both computer hardware & maintenance and software development aswell as a standard grade in computing studies all of which has net me fuck all so far, maybw someday but I'd be content with a mediocre office position thats over 40 hours a week at the moment rather than stacking shelves or scrubbing toilets again >_>

BSc in Applied Physics which was a fun and interesting course but clown college would have offered me more job opportunities, so I did a MSc in Structural Engineering which was boring as hell but got me my job which doesn't really involve either subject...

I did roughly a year of college after I dropped out of high school and got my GED. At the moment due to finances I'm looking at joining the military where I'll probably continue college while I'm working.
