Jeans last forever before they need to be washed, and washing them too often can wear them out. At least, that's what my parents told me. Non-jeans pants get washed every few days.

I've been steadily losing weight since the beginning of the year, so the amount of pants I own that fit have been diminishing. I've gone down two sizes, and have resorted to stealing my brother's pants. So I only have about two pairs of jeans and two pairs of shorts. I can't be bothered to wash them after every wearing. I just try to swap them out so I'm not wearing the same pair two (or three) days in a row. I usually do laundry once every two weeks, so each pair gets worn I'd say three times before washes.

And I've never washed any of my kilts, but those are special occasion things, so they don't get worn as often.

Right, but you do it often enough, and your avatar is recognizable enough that you're "that crazy Norwegian guy" with wacky Norwegian customs, like wearing red overalls.
Pfweeh... I don't really get the impression that most people recognize me like that. Except for a choice few users of course.
So after checking the Wikipedia on the "Russefeiring", I came across, "Promiscuous sex, drunkenness and public disturbance on a mass scale has been the most prominent impact of the celebration in recent decades."

So it's like prom, but 2+ weeks long and it comes with flamboyant overalls? Sign me up.
I haven't been to a prom, but I'm assuming it requires some level of decency and pretty clothes.
If so, I would say it's a fair bit more entertaining than prom.
And I'm guessing the promiscuity is cranked up a bit compared to prom.
For example: the russ at each school appoint a couple of people to be responsible for contraceptives. Their job is basically to hand out condoms to everyone.

Also, the police is willing to ignore minor crimes, like public drinking, when it's the russ comitting them.

And achievement whoring is pretty fun.
If you perform certain tasks, you get to tie objects to your hat.
Stuff like "Sitting in a roundabout with a bunch of beer and a sign that says 'you honk, we drink'"
"Biting a first year in the leg"
"Consuming a cup of slushee in less than two minutes"
"Drinking a case of beer in 12 hours"
"Having sex outdoors"
"Not attending school for the entire russ period"

My coat.
"Katta" being the name of the school I go to.
Your coat has the Team Gurren logo on it...

Underwear? Daily.

Trousers? About once a week. I guess, sometimes a bit more often if I spill something on myself. I need to get more trousers though, I always ending up doing washing since I'm out of trousers and never anything else...

I don't own anything made of denim mostly because jeans are uncomfortable and stiff but also because it leaves me vulnerable to
As a result I wash pants (trousers) fairly frequently, I get a few days out of them if they're dark, one or two if they're white.

If you can smell the pants and not tell they've been worn they are fine to be worn again.

That's my motto.

I get crap from my significant other but when she can't even tell they are used pants I think its fine.

NOW if your pants produce an odor then it is time to wash them puppies.

Shirts on the other hand go bad for me in a day, my arm pits were designed by Lucifer or something. At least deodorant was invented :/.

Underpants is daily, though if I was going by smell test I could work those bad boys a few days or more I'm sure. My groinage is pleasantly odorless most times, at least it doesn't transfer to clothing basically ever.

And now you know more about my groin than you should.

I don't know, it depends on when I feel like showering I guess.

So, about once a month I should think?

We are talking about underwear here, right?

We have red pants in europe..?

No wonder the average American wastes 2-3 times as much energy as the average European :O
A common American stereotype is that European men wear "odd colored" (read: not blue or black) jeans. I personally think the "wear it once" mentality is a bit insane for pants. One of our tenants does it, I swear he does laundry more than once a week.

3-4 days unless they get really dirty for whatever reason.

2-3 days? I don't pay much attention to my pants. Fun fact: unless I'm going out, I don't like to wear a shirt. I'm very anti-clothes most of the time.

Probably a month or so. I don't count.

I do know that I need to wash them more frequently, not to remove dirt, but to rest them and wear other trousers. I've found that if I don't rotate them often enough they wear out quicker.

During the winter, sweatpants and pajamas every four days, and jeans about every month and a half. During the summer, my shorts will get changed every week and a half-ish

I usually can only wear my pants for 3 or 4 days at a time before I have to change them. Shirts 2 days at most. However when I have social gatherings I need to go to like school or the mall I most certainly will change into something fresh to appear presentable.
