Bad. I have poor fine and gross motor skills which I went to occupational therapy for two years for and it didn't help so I stopped.

Whether it be print or cursive we all have varying degrees of perfection or chickenscratch. How do you rate your penmanship?
I wish to thank you for making this thread before me. I wanted to make the exact same thread, but I kept delaying it out of laziness.
OT: My handwriting is ok if I give it a little interest, otherwise it's something that not most understands(mainly because I only write cursive and that's pretty easy to misunderstand).

My handwriting is incredibly small. I do have a good, grammar, and can spelll woreds corektly but the problem is trying to make out what I've written. I can make it bigger if I try, but do you want the job done or not?
It isn't that bad compared to some of my friends handwriting which vary from Egyptian Hieroglyphs to Norse Runes.

I'm stuck with writing kind of horribly, because I can't hold a pen/pencil properly. If I want to write neatly I have to really slow everything down. Also, it makes writing in cursive a *****, so I avoid that altogether.

Cursive is so bad that there are only three people I know of who can read it (And used to do just that for writing private messages, in fact).

Printed is fairly mediocre, but anyone can read it fine. Takes way longer to write tho.

To be honest, I really like the fact that (in general) only I can read my notes.

Takes quite a bit of effort to read mine, Teachers I had at school for a long time say that they got used to it. Had to have extra help in primary where writeing a single letter on the lines would get me showered with praise.

My handwriting is terrible, but it's getting better as I am learning to have more order. Chemical formulas and math equations require some order so writing those make my writing look better simply because it's not just one big pile of letters you got problems understanding, but more of a neat arrangement of letters you can understand with some effort. Once I had to take an oral test because the teacher didn't understand a word and I was allowed to use a computer to type in my next tests even though that was the kinda teacher who never allowed that.

When I'm just printing, it looks pretty neat. My 'note taking' handwriting is pretty bad, though. I think most of the time, it's just scribble that represents the approximate length of the word.
"...then it is reduced to something like this. The legibility is a little lower. And pretty much no one can read it completely (?) except me. If you are (?) (?), then you get a cookie."

I'm not going to lie - that's pretty illegible alright.
Aww close enough. If I could be bothered finding a pic of half a cookie, I'd give you one. *obligatory text replacement for half a cookie*

It was 'comfortably' and 'able to decipher.' Again, close enough. You can read my own handwriting better than I can half the time.

I think mine is actually quite good but sometimes i'l just think it's sloppy and get annoyed about it.

If I've got a decent pen and I'm writing on a pad (as opposed to a single piece of paper) then it's fine.

It took me years to get my signature right though; I could never replicate and it always looked sloppy.

My writing frequently makes it difficult to determine the difference between 4s and 9s and 0s and 6s, which tends to be a problem considering I'm currently doing a stats course at uni.

It depends how much effort I put into it. If I'm writing my homework down it's barely legible, for other work it's neat and tidy and if I'm bored I can go into full cursive calligraphic writing that looks like a Hogwarts invitation.

As a programmer, I tend to write a lot, and very fast. I think it's pretty legible, but whether or not it's understandable is something else. Mysterious diagrams and arcane abbreviations all over the place. Sometimes I go back to some notes I wrote a few days earlier and think "What? Whaaat?"

Also, I somehow have the tendency to write the lowercase 'm' with four legs when I'm writing really fast. Absolutely no idea why...
