i'm healthy weight, according to my wii fit, but i'malmost at risk of being overweight, so i really need to do exercise. problem is, i don't know what sort of exercise to do to lose weight that doesn't mean me getting up at 7 on a sunday and running 2 miles...

Over the course of my life I went from underweight to normal to underweight again to overweight to obese to overweight to obese again. I have no idea where I stand now. Probably borderline overweight and obese.

Doesn't help that I drink a lot. I am currently a shining example of what not to do with your health.

BMI of 16 lol apparently i'm horribly underweight. But it's genetic cause everyone in my family from aunts to cousins are "skinny". That and we are all athletic.

I am probably right on or a tad underwieght. Doesn't mean I am healthy though. The crap I eat there is just no way I should be healthy (but I feel good)

Normal weight. I've lost a bit of weight lately, but not sure how much so I just put my old weight. 20.4? Probably like 20 now or something.

I eat well but I smoke and don't exercise too much, so even though I'm skinny I'm not exactly in perfect health. :p

My BMI is just barely obese but I got me some tig ol' bitties and an itty bitty waist so I say fuck the BMI. My husband don't complain, he always wants it. He says it's my round posterior.

Egh, I'm so underweight. Wish I was normal... I made a profile on Wii Fit for the first time about a week ago and when I got my results my character got all skinny and depressed >.>

As luck would have it, I had a physical/check up yesterday!

The doc said I'm "taking very good care of [my]self" and that with my build the BMI wasn't an accurate assessment. I guess that would make me muscular according to your poll.

BMI 32.7, Obese. 131kgs (aka 262lbs), 187cm (aka 6'3"). I'm too lazy to do something about it, so I'll probably be stuck with these moobs for the rest of my life (or until liposuction comes prepackaged for ?5 at the drugstore, you never know with modern technological advances).

The BMI really doesn't take many things into consideration. Take rugby for example, or American football or whatever. If a guy stands at around 175cms, and weighs like 230 lbs of pretty much pure muscle, he would be labelled as obese/morbidly obese more than likely by the BMI. Even though it's likely he's a tank and super fit. It's crap. Oh and to answer the question, I'm normal weight by BMI.

My BMI tells me that I'm underweight by a long long way (it hovers around the 15.4 mark). I eat perfectly healthily, get enough excercise and don't have any health problems other than hayfever. My parents/teachers used to suspect I had an eating disorder when I was younger and I had a dietician for a few years and even went on protein shakes for a while to no avail, my BMI has always remained around that same point and theres nothing I can do about it. I have tried to gain weight (I am inhumanly thin) through eating/excercise but neither works.

Me and you both >< Well, I'm not inhumanly but... y'know. Still too thin. I think the skinny people should form a band of brothers! (I'm an honorary brother) We get no respect!

... Well, I don't anyway...

Height - 6'3"
Weight - 155lbs
BMI - 19.4

I recently cut a lot of weight by running and eating healthier, (from 175 to 149) for a martial arts competition, and to get a six-pack. I had succeeded in getting down to the lightweight division, but alas, no six-pack.

Since then, I've gained about 5 or so pounds through strength training, so I'm a safe distance away from the border to underweight territory.
