Used to be every waking minute, now my free time runs from 0 minutes a day (school days) to 3 hours a day (rest days).

I've made mature and yet very difficult life choices. xD

When I splurge, though, I can go for hours - six or seven of them. Hasn't happened in a while, though - I tend to max out at two.

It varies. Most times these days I can play for about 2-3 hours max before I'll want to take a break, but then I could easily want to play more after half an hour.

I've been known to play upwards of six hours at once if the time is right. I've definitely played lengthy sessions before and not have that be atypical.

I usually play for a max of 2-3 hours before taking a break. Otherwise, I start to get tired and sloppy.

Usually about 2-3 hours will do me fine, but if a game particularly engrosses me ("Dark Souls III", for instance) I can go for much longer in one sitting.

I have two modes, one when I'm playing a very demanding game competitively which is mentally taxing, stuff like Blazblue or Guilty Gear. If I'm playing those my average session is in the 3 hour mark, though at local competitive events and tourneys it isn't rare for that to triple, though those are maybe once a week occasions so you wanna squeeze the most out of it when everyone is gathered together.

The other mode is when I'm into a story based experience like a Jrpg or a visual novel, which minimum lasts 4ish hours but can go up to 12 if it is especially gripping. For reference, I beat the epilogue in persona 3 fes in just two days, as I had to find out what was goin on in the end of the story. I beat ffxiii in 5 days with a bit over 50 hours playtime, my first imported ff game was quite an experience.

When there's a game I get really into I could play them pretty much nonstop, like with BlazBlue CPEX right now in the weekend I could actually keep swapping modes all day. Nobody online? Play against bots. Frustrated at how Arcsys programmed bot difficulty in the laziest manner possible? Story mode or online play. Get pissed off because some dicklord thinks he's good at the game by playing Unpunished "5B only" Ragna Snake then go back to bots. The cycle continues.

Terumi's 2D is good against bots btw, they auto backdash your moves cuz brief invincibility (nice difficulty programming ArcSys) and they backdash from the first end of the cheese wheel into the back end of the cheese wheel. Do that shit online and you get fuckin' ruined.
5B is -8, wai aren't you punishing it....wai.

My average game time is about three hours throughout the week. It used to be six, but having a job doesn't lend itself to well to a lot of gaming time.

About 1 hour, 2 at the most. It's pretty much the length of a movie. I'd say I spend anywhere from 2 to 4 hours a week playing games. I also enjoy watching movies and other times I'm just too tired to play a game, so I'll just browse the interwebs, watch youtube videos, etc.

If it's pve, I can play for hours, but pvp wears me out. So too do bullet hell games like Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon.

If we're not counting toliet break, 2-3 hours is an average for me.

I can play abit longer but it depends if there are some stuff I want to do on the internet while I'm gaming like watching a video, check emails etc.

Depends on the game, mostly. I usually can't play more than 2-3 hours in one sitting, and I've only had a few times where the entire day disappeared before I knew what the hell was happening (damn you X-Com...).

I have friends who can play games for 18+ hours straight, and I'll never understand how you can do that.

FUCKIN' LAG DUDE

I've been looking to make that MGS5 joke for a while now and I finally found a place to use it. Also 5B looks like it cancels into safer stuff on block and it's a super long range normal for what it is plus it's an easy 4K damage off landing it even in midscreen using no meter. Plus y'know, random Inferno Dividers and stuff.

Then off the top of my head, Terumi's ability to punish a blocked 5B can be tricky without meter cuz 5B has so much range, Terumi might have to pull the good old fearless 6C or raw 236D. I'm gonna try the YOLO 6C next time I see a Ragna.

But y'know, the way i've recently figured is that Terumi is a "press buttons" character. Yes you can do some fancy stuff like RCing 6C into a throw or jump canceling the first hit of 5C into a surprise overhead or what have you but whatever. Gather as much momentum as possible and press every button. Pressing buttons gives you meter and a Terumi with consistent meter gain is actually rather scary. Terumi has damage if he gets in so throw yourself at them until something sticks.

Embrace the subpar specials, 214D might be possibly the worst command grab in the history of command grabs but fuck it, it's so bad people probably think you're not even gonna use it so throw it out anyway. If they dodge it and do half your HP damage to you on a fatal counter it's because you didn't believe in it enough! Do anything to get someone in the corner. Go for shameless throw resets. OD invincibility frame any unsafe move you see coming and go for damage. Don't stop stomping. Random Messengas are always the correct decision and throwing out a random Serpent's Laceration on offence can catch them off guard. Pick the low version for extra mindgames since who even needs overheads when you trick them into blocking high.

Hey I never said I was good.

I have no actual set session times. Sometimes, I just give up a few minutes in. Sometimes, I'll burn out by going all night.

There is no average at all. It just depends on many factors.

Haha yeah, lag makes stuff unpunishabke so I generally avoid it like the plague. If you block it you can just 2A him though if they don't cancel it into stuff, otherwise you wanna zone with 5D which is even longer.

Oh and you do wanna hit buttons not all of them, just 5B and 6B, since they're plus like all hell. J2D and jD are nice too.

No more than 2 hours I'm afraid. Gaming is now (sadly) something I must fit around other things, rather than the reverse.

The exception to this is my online clan game night, 7pm - 1am Tuesday night/Wednesday morning every week. That, at least, remains untouched by the ever-growing demands of adult life.

I only play games 2 days a week, Friday and Saturday. So provided I'm not going out I usually play from 11pm to 4-5am so I guess I play about 5 or 6 hours whenever I do play... Which is rarely now a days

1 to 3 hours, at most. I used to play for 6 or more, when I was really into Minecraft and Left4Dead with friends. Social gaming sucks me in. I didn't play every day however, and I took breaks.

On the weekend I can go 12+ hours straight. I can't play much during the week because of work so I get it all in then.
