Then why are posting in a thread about drinking beer?

OT: It's pretty variable, but I usually finish one off in 7-12 minutes. Depends on the vessel, oddly enough; a can will always go down quicker than a pint-glass or a bottle, for some reason.
It's also linked to the type of beer, and the circumstance. You can't knock back stout, for example, and it's a shame to waste craft beers when you're having a nice meal.

I'm talking about Toohey's Extra Dry, only Australian's know about it.
Wrong! We get it in the UK, too. And not just in Aussie-themed bars like Walkabout.

Anyways - time to drink: depends massively on what you're drinking and when you're drinking it.

It's a really hot day, you're at the beach/in the garden/BBQ with friends and its a cold, cold beer fresh from the icebox/fridge then that's disappearing pretty damn quick.

Conversely, a pint of Old Peculier whilst doing the crossword with a couple of mates in the pub will linger for a while.

Ewww Beer. Crown Royal neat and warm please. Keep the ice and mixers ( don't want that watered down stuff ruining my Whiskey) . It takes me about 2 seconds before I need to refill my glass. :)

Also, nice job calling beer drinkers pussies when you apparently can't handle something as delicious as whiskey and coke; I mainly drink beer, but if I want some hard liquor mixed with a soda, that's usually my first choice.
Why would you pollute your whisky with coke? You might as well just piss in it and be done with it.

That's because it won't taste of anything. Always be suspicious if a beer says you should drink it chilled, it's probably because it tastes like chemicals and piss and they're hiding the fact by chilling it to the point you can't taste it.

Cellar temperature is the temperature of beer, the point at which it's refreshing but you can actually taste it.

But that it tastes of cold is pretty much the reason beers like Bier D'or and Bier D'alsace exist! they're there purely to be sold in packs of 30 250ml bottles in supermarkets in the summer and you always leave at least a finger of the bottle left because you realize just how bad they are when the cold wears off. It's a summer time staple.

It depends if I'm gaming, instant messaging, watching TV or with people. or if it's with a meal. I guess around 3-10 minutes depending on the above

Well, depends on what I'm doing at the time.
If it's at a party and there's drinks all around, usually within 5 minutes.
If I'm just chilling at home with friends, it's probably near 10 minutes.
But if I'm actually doing something next to the drinking, it could be a bit longer anyway.

But neeeeeeeeeeever let it go warm!

Depends on the quantity of beer, my mood, how many I've already had, and other external factors.

Depends on what it is and where I'm drinking it, but a pint of lager during pub socialisation is usually about 20 minutes. That time increases throughout the night because the more I drink the more I talk.

It really depends on factors like the form of the beer (pint glass is fastest, can is slowest), the conversation that is going on (more I talk, less I drink) and even what kind of beer. However I tend to drink quite fast, faster then most of my friends but I'm not the fastest either. I'd say maybe 12ish minutes?

Anywhere between 10 and 25 minutes, depending on the situation. A little faster recently, because of the heat.

It might be a cultural thing or it might be just me, but I don't usually drink alcohol outside of social situations and I tend to drink it slowly - to loosen up, not to get drunk.

So yeah, drinking a beer in under 10 minutes seems like a bit too fast from where I'm standing.

Because it's cheap whiskey. If I could afford the good stuff, I wouldn't even be putting ice in it, let alone coke.

Depends on how fast i want to drink it. Sometimes you just want to lay back and sip on it. This question is impossible to answer. I can dunk it down in a few seconds, but why would i want to?

It really depends a lot on the situation, but I rarely let a beer get warm.

Really depends on my mood, the size of the glass and if I've been drinking other beers before that
