I was playing some Contra 3 and Star Fox 64 earlier today. I bought the Wii not too long after launch, assuming that there would be...

A) new Star Fox and F-Zero installments
B) a good amount of good games that use the Wii remote as a pointing and shooting controller (eg, Wii Tanks, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles).

Alien Syndrome was one game that I was really looking forward too. But several reviews agreed that the game had very little variety in terms of level design and enemies. So that kind of put me off of buying the game. I will have to check out Sin & Punishment, though.

I loved Red Steel 1's controls, but aside from the controls, the game was unremarkable. Fun for a rental, though.
