Lol, it was a system with good potential, it was just that Nintendo's simultaneous decision to appeal to the "non-gamer" crowd, and the inevitable alienation of it's core fanbase led to its ruin, although to be honest, it's difficult to say "ruin" when it is the best selling of the three current game systems. With Nintendo's recent "Revelation" about the need for good games (why this had to be a revelation is a mystery), and the current development of the WiiHD, as its called at the moment, we could see the return of Nintendo as a serious competitor to "hardcore" (I hate the term) gaming.

Last time I touched mine was a while ago. But I was playing Wii Sports Resort on my brother's a week ago.

I used it a couple days ago, but that was just to use the Internet Channel to bring some guitar tabs onto a big screen so I can play along with them.

I see people on here talking all the time about how they never play with their Wii, and that it just sits around unused. There's no need to debate who's hardcore and who isn't, or whether or not you love the interface (not that there's anything wrong with that), or whether or not you even have the hardware in the first place - if it was yours or someone else's, when was the last time you touched a Wii?

Must resist glaringly obvious opportunity for a pun here...
Also, on topic, I don't own a wii yet, but possibly Metroid Other M and Monster hunter tri will change this status of mine. Up until now there's never been anything all that exciting on it.

Hours. Well, more specifically an hour and a half about. Finished a bit of Arc Rise Fantasia (shitty voice overs, but quite good otherwise) and popped in Evangelion 1.11. Probably getting back to it tomorrow too.

A couple weeks ago; Super Mario Galaxy 2 was definitely worth using it again.

Though honestly, that's the first game in a while I've played on there. I think the last one before that was No More Heroes 2.
