Oh, you sold a jersey? 4 game suspension. We will continue to make money off of your image, though. Hypocrites.
I take it you're a Georgia fan?
No, I just hate the double standard in place. >_>
I hear you. Like with all the Tressel stuff going on, I mean I know it's almost a certainty he's (and OSU) are gonna get hammered......but I can't shake this feeling that the NCAA will give them a slap on the wrist. Whereas if it was a coach from a smaller school they would already have been crucified

I like soccer, football and MMA. I guess MMA counts as a sport. I played softball for a while, but I got bored of it. XD

I'm also really into golf!

For a minute I thought you meant playing sports. Sports for me are something I really enjoy doing. I go kitesurfing, skiing, snowboarding, play badminton with friends, and go running but WATCHING sports?! What's the point? You're not enjoying any of the physical activities and people would say "Dur, we go cheer for team" and do this AT HOME IN FRONT OF THEIR COUCH? I mean come on wtf. So no for the record I don't enjoy watching sports on tv, only at a bar so I can get drunk and annoy my friends who are into this sort of stuff.
Because it's entertaining watching people who have such a high skill level play against others who are at that level of mastery. And to follow a team and have a vested interest in who wins. And to make brackets for tournaments and bet on them. Really, there are limitless reasons to like watching sports, but generally I only like watching faster paced sports (baseball is FUCKING BORING [to me]) but I absolutely love lacrosse, hockey, footbal, futbol, and to a certain extent basketball.

EDIT: and UFC, god how I love UFC.
Yeah I guess you have a point but I still find it more satisfying to be playing rather than watching
Agreed, except UFC. I would be murdered.

I enjoy watching certain sports, but not others, and I don't usually go out of my way to watch them.

Personally, I love sports, although I can see why some people are not a fan of them. For me, there is no greater sport than that of hockey. I love the everything from the physicality, to the goaltending, to the sound the puck makes when he hits someone's stick.

Yet, I understand why some people are not into sports. On its most primary level it is just a bunch of people running after a sphere most of the time.

I love ice hockey. I love to watch it on tv, attend games, and play it on my 360 (I would play it but I can't ice skate that well). I do watch the occasional baseball or American football game but they aren't as exciting to me.

Same. Watching Hockey > Watching Football. Watching Baseball > Watching Football. Eating a roach, in my opinion (no ketchup) > Watching Football. Watching Golf = Watching Football.

Football is so much better than golf. Golf is the most boring sport IMO. My father and brothers can watch golf for hours and I don't see how they can do it.

I like hockey, but now that the Habs are out of the playoffs, I won't care about any sport until October.

Warning that this will be quite a long post so I'll put the TL;DR first...

Love football and Ice Hockey, Watch SPL, EPL, UCL, NHL, Superbowl, play sports games, definitely up for Fantasy football league

Now read on, if you dare :p

I do love Football and Ice Hockey (and yes I feel I have to define it as that as I have a friend that plays Ice Hockey and another that plays Field Hockey) and try to play football as much as possible

SPL is the league I follow the most, because the team I support plays in it (Dundee United) and it gets quite a bad rap...the "Old Firm dominance" one annoys me as when you put it down to ratios, it is about the same as other leagues (Barca/Real, Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal etc.) Also like the follow the Premiership and Championship, but less focused on any particular team, although I do have soft spots for some teams, Wolves being the main one. Oh and the Champions League as well, although I couldn't care less who wins it. Favourite not-my-team player has to be Lionel Messi (and after seeing him play in-the-flesh, I probably won't be swayed otherwise) .

I try to go to games of Ice Hockey as much as possible and I must admit there is something about it that is just better than being at a football match...Maybe it's the atmosphere, the cold temperature, the inevitable fight, but it's just better somehow :p I do also try to catch NHL games as often as possible on ESPN but sometimes I'm just too tired by then.

I also watch the Superbowl every year with a few friends, although admittedly it's a pain in the arse having to be awake until about 4 in the morning until it's done :p Is fun though, although Black Eyed Peas this year just didn't work for me after The Who last year

Generally, if none of the few series that I watch aren't on, the sport channel will be the first place I go (besides gaming of course)

And speaking of gaming, I do like my fair share of sports games (FIFA, NHL, PES, Football Manager) even though they are the same year after year mostly. I like being my team so to speak

Also, I would definitely like to take part in a Fantasy Football League next year if at all possible :D Couldn't care less what league although I would have more knowledge with Scottish and English leagues

Finally captcha is edolityo non...WHAT?!?

EDIT: Turned out it didn't look nearly as long what I thought it would

Not a big fan.

Really, sports fans tend to piss me off. Every time I hear people talk about how one team sucks and another is great because it's "their" team, or when someone can name every player on a team and tell you exactly how last nights game went but they can't have an intelligent conversation... it just makes me angry.

I don't intend to generalize, it's just that in my day to day life I hear WAY too much about sports. Other humans that I don't know and never will know getting paid to play games are not relevant, they do not help me in any way, and I should not have to know anything about them to be considered a member of society.

Quite a fan of watching football, icehockey, handball and floorball, and like to play #1 and #4. Don't watch a lot though, mostly because I haven't had a TV for over 2 years and got out of the habit. Nothing like the footie World Cup though. Have been regretting stopping to play football for quite a while now, but as a 10 year old it was kinda hard to keep interest up when all of my friends turned to bastards as soon as they walked out on the pitch.
