From january 1st until now. How many games have you bought for full price? Anything at any kind of discount doesn't count even if you bought it day one ( like a gog code). Preorders however do count if the game comes out next year, as long as you paid the full price. And what games were they?

For me all i bought full price was destiny ( the taken king package) and bloodborne.

A lot, expendable money tends to make one not care about buying things full price.

-Pirate Warriors 3 (twice)
-Metal Gear Solid V
-Mad Max
-Dragon Quest: Heroes
-Fallout 4
-Until Dawn
-The Witcher 3

I'm trying to snake Assassin's Creed: Syndicate in there as well.

-Fallout 4
-Counter Strike: Global Offense

Those are really the only two games I bought this year ^.^

I got Assassin's Creed: Syndicate for free from purchasing a computer from Cyberware Computers :p

That depends, does "has been out for years so the price has dropped over time" count? Because that will dramatically change my answer.

Fallout 4
Tales of Zestria
FF14 - Heavensward
Mario Maker

There may be one or two more, but I can't recall any more then that.

Technically 1.

I got Bloodbowl II at the full price of $50 after trading in a bunch of games. I assume it counts since $60 isn't its asking price?

Everything else has been discounted or free (I got EA Access with my Xbox One Madden edition). Games drop in price so quickly nowadays that I'm amazed people would ever pay full price for anything but the most hypiest of hyped up for them games. But it's their money so who am I go tell them how to spend it?

The only game I bought full price was Super Mega Baseball, though that was only $20 I think

Totally worth it though, that game is awesome

I think Life is Strange is the only game I bought this year. One of the few games I didn't feel bad for paying full price.

Bloodborne, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PS4), and I will be buying Call of Duty: Black Ops III as well. Otherwise, that's it unless something is sneaking under my radar and I'm forgetting about it.

Same here. I've bought 14 games total this year that came sometime between 2007 and 2014. Some (the minority) I paid full price, which isn't necessarily the same as launch price.

Where's the 0 for those of us who don't think any game is worth the full price? $50+ for Fallout 4?!
Yeah I'll wait 2 weeks for the patches, updates, inevitably snarky reviews and a 30% price drop.
Thanks.

Voted three, but then checked and saw another was released 2015, whereas I'd thought it was late 2014. So four:

-- Majora's Mask 3D.
-- Arkham Knight.
-- Super Mario Maker.
-- Ocarina of Time 3D (late to be paying full price, I know).

It's mostly Nintendo ones, because I tend to wait for PC releases more often.

Vermintide, for £20. I don't mind paying full price for cheaper games, but really, £30 is about my upper limit, if it costs more than that I'm waiting until it comes down.

MGSV, ARK: Survival Evolved, and Tales of Zestiria.
Haven't really gotten around to sinking my teeth into MGSV just yet, but ARK was totally worth the purchase price, and Tales of Zestiria was already an automatic bargain since I managed to technically pre-order at the last minute and get Tales of Symphonia for free.

I actually wasn't at all planning to buy any games at full price this year, these were in the last two months. Normally I figure the only people who buy games at full price are suckers, with how prevalent sales are nowadays.

One, Fallout 4. That doesn't mean I won't buy another before the end of the year at full price, I might. But to this point Fallout 4 is the only thing I have paid full price for.

Honestly, I keep forgetting Bloodborne came out this year. Much how I keep forgetting about the game itself. But I did buy it full price, I think. The thing is, I'll trade in a game at my game shop for a discount on occassion, so I don't know if that really counts.

I got The Witcher 3 from buying gtx.

I don't see myself buying anything coming out later this year on launch.

Uh... *counts with both hands and feet* Just one so far... Granted, it was the Collector's Edition of Tales of Zestiria, so that was basically over 120 bones for a game I can't play because I lack the system to play it on the first place...

Other that than, unless you also count pre-paying for the physical copy of 2017's Them's Fightin' Herds, that's still one game I bought at full price this year...
