Poll: How many games did you pay full price for this year?

That's fine. I'm a patient soul. Hell, not like we can't work out the entire plot of Fallout 4 right now, give or take a name or two.
What do you want to bet its possible to line up with any permutation of the groups and alignments in the game and get basically any outcome to whatever resource war is be fought?

I'd go with "pretty damn good."

I'm sure I'll enjoy it, in the end, but like you, I can definitely wait.

I think technically only one, which was Rocket League, two if you include Pillars of Eternity which I backed on kickstarter. Every other game I've bought this year has been in either been on sale or had some form of launch day discount.

I'm another one of those people that needs a 0.

I'm both patient and savvy; for example I'll get Fallout 4 once the GOTY edition with all of the dlc comes out and there's a steam sale.

I think the only one that maybe counts, is backing the Bloodstained Kickstarter. Anything else was either discounted or not actually bought this year. I've been playing Pillars of Eternity on/off over the last few months; I bought that back in 2013 - what the hell?!

To my knowledge, none of them. All my purchases this year have been through GreenManGaming, GOG, Steam or a combination of the aforementioned services.

Yes, this year. Infact, today I bought 3 new games ( new as in full price new ). I'm not sure if this is a good thing for me, even if I can afford them I still feel like I'm jumping in way to quickly for some games.

But I guess aslong as I'm not hurting for cash I will be ok. Ohh and I'm not sure I'm living the dream, maybe in terms of the financial part but as they say, there are more things in life than money, for example, more money! ;P

MGS V, which was at least ten dollars cheaper on the older consoles, and RE: Reve-lay-uh-tons 2 on Steam. Bought the whole thing and the Season Pass.

That depends, does "has been out for years so the price has dropped over time" count? Because that will dramatically change my answer.

Given the tone of the question, my guess is full price new or very recent releases.

I think I bought Pokemon Alpha Saphire and Wolfenstein the New Order this year.

I've mostly bought old retro games, discounted games through Steam, older titles where the price has already dropped and used.

I did buy a bunch of Amiibos at full price though.

I bought one game new, for full price this year and it was Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden. My GF grabbed a few games new like Yoshi's Wooley World and I've bought into the Amiibo craze but when it comes to new, full priced games I only got that one. As far as 3DS games go, it's not even the usual $40 so there's that. I'm probably going to get Yokai Watch and I know I won't get it for less than full price.

And I plan on getting Fallout 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles X later this year when they come out. And, writing this list, it made me realize that this was a fantastic year in gaming. A lot of good games came out and we aren't even done yet!

Myself? None. Games went up in price by $5-10 in Canada this year (on top of the $5-10 from last year). I've been mostly taking advantage of Steam sales and older games I haven't grabbed until now.

Though I did get Majora's Mask 3D for my birthday, and that was likely at full price.
