It's more times a month.

I exercise in short periods of time - when I need to release energy I'll nag mom to put up the boxing sack and I'll just exercise for a few weeks on a regular basis.

My roommate and I both martial artists and we spend probably between 1 and 2 hours daily sparing, however we tend to do this in short bursts through out the day.

I do 30 minutes of devoted exercise every evening, but I reckon my main exercise comes from the 20 miles I cover walking to and from work each week. Having no car is +ace+.

Congrats on your first thread my friend. Welcome to the Escapist! We may bite, but it isn't hard. You get used to it, and in the end it is quite pleasant.
I spend every Friday for an hour non stop martial arts, and practice what I learn throughout the week. I used to run, but haven't in a while.
On that note, can anyone give me an exercise idea that will get me working out again? I'm doing fist push ups on hard ground to toughen my knuckles up, but I need MOAR.
Also some positive reinforcement never hurts.
What do you want out of the workout? If you want more cardio I would suggest P90x or Insanity, both are good. If you want more strength training there is a website iwantsixpackabs.com that has a good 16 week workout regiment that is quick and effective.

None.

However, I do go on the odd walk, spend a good deal of time running around the house doing stuff (lots of cleaning, for instance), have plenty of work in the garden/herb patch, and spend most of winter shoveling snow.

Probably like 6-7 hours. I do weights for an hour (minimum) 5 days of the week, working different muscle groups each day and resting on 2. It'll probably go up though, after this week I'm taking a one week break (as I do every 12 weeks) and then gonna start jogging too, and try and jog 4/5 days of the week as well. So that will probably double it. I wanna join a basketball team too, but every team I've tried is so Americanised it's unreal, with loads of morons walking around high fiving every 10 seconds, holding their hand in gay positions when they score a 3, and saying "nice shot dude". I refuse to be associated with that.

'bout five hours a week swimming, probably about 3.5 (30 or so minutes every morning) doing pushups, situps, and other such holdovers from my time in the Army (my endurance for the Supine Bicycle has suffered greatly since I've been out).

I have basket ball practice. Thats an hour 4 days a week. Then I work out 2 hours beside that every day. So 16 hours. Its better than I used to do, which was nothing. Losing weight isn't fun, but it's worth it in the end.

Well, I usually play badminton at a club for a few hours a week. I've cut down the hours though from what I used to though. Shame really, I'm getting rather unfit.

I walk to the supermarket and bakery every day (except Sunday). And since I don't have a car and hate public transportation, I go everywhere I need to go by bicycle. Plus, I walk my dog three times a day.

That should by enough exercise for me.

I do none.

I walk a lot in college every day but nothing that gets my heart racing.
En revanche I do have a good 7-8 minute walk between one building and the rest of campus.
I used to do a martial art 3 times a week but it got shut down.

Where's the poll?

OT: Exercise? Working out? I think you have me confused with someone who isn't lazy.
