Congrats on your first thread my friend. Welcome to the Escapist! We may bite, but it isn't hard. You get used to it, and in the end it is quite pleasant.
I spend every Friday for an hour non stop martial arts, and practice what I learn throughout the week. I used to run, but haven't in a while.
On that note, can anyone give me an exercise idea that will get me working out again? I'm doing fist push ups on hard ground to toughen my knuckles up, but I need MOAR.
Also some positive reinforcement never hurts.
What do you want out of the workout? If you want more cardio I would suggest P90x or Insanity, both are good. If you want more strength training there is a website iwantsixpackabs.com that has a good 16 week workout regiment that is quick and effective.
I already have the P90, my bro got it. I should go bust it out then. Any little things I could do? Like running for certain periods of time? Or what else do you suggest? I will also check out Insanity for sure, I'll give sixpackabs a look.

I don't exercise, but i have my reasons why i don't.

I'm thin as a rake (especially for my age) and I have a seriously high metabolism, so I would have to drink my own body weight in weight gain powder to even have muscles to tone up, so it would be useless me going to the gym.

between 7 - 10 hours a week. Not as much as i'd like. Would quite like to double that, trouble is finding someone with the time and the motivation to do the extra 10 hours of sport. As opposed to the gym work i do most of the time. Not interested in gaining or losing weight, just like training

1-2 hours maybe, but it's because of time, not laziness. Your poll seems to be missing.
Also, welcome to the escapist, stay out of the basement.

Well if the slight exercise at work counts...maybe 5-6 hours a week?
Otherwise, screw exercise too much damn effort. Laziness ftw!

I usually spend almost no time exercising, recently i have started to walk 3 Km a day. It does make me feel better, and i hope it will improve my lung capacity and stamina.

About nine hours per week, alternating between endurance cardio, high-impact cardio, and weight training. Currently nursing a torn shoulder muscle, though, so it'll be a bit less this week.

About 40 minute to an hour a day depending if want to run faster or run longer (I usually alternate). I don't do much lifting. My strength training just consists of several variations of crunches and push ups.

Surfing adds a good bit , especially during the fall (when the damn tourists are gone and the water is cold enough that other surfers aren't crowding the place). I haven't been out lately, though. I need to go.

I go to the gym every other day so I guess thats 8 hours.

And I walk to my university and back home every day so if walking counts that's about 7 hours.

I ride my bike everywhere, so I'm counting that too. Let's see: 5 days a week, 2 times a day, 15 min. 5 * 2 * 15 = 150, plus about 30 minutes going to a friend and back. So 210 min. a week spent riding my bike. I also train about 10 minutes a day excercising and phy. ed. at school: 90 minutes. So probably around 370 minutes. So about 6 hours total.

I'm pretty inactive suffice to say... :/

All I have for fitness is Martial Arts practice every once or twice a week. A practice is a bout an hour and a half.

So about 3 hours a week... >>

I used to do more, but you know, I got lazy.
