I'm from Canada, and I speak English and a bit of French.

I've been forced to learn French in school since Grade 4.

Dutch of course. If I give it a bit of efford, fluently English and my own made up gibberish language. I can babble like a 6 year old in French, but that's about it.

2, if you count my above average ability to speak irish. Most people are God damn awful at it, even after about 14 years of schooling. It's horrendously badly taught.

Does profanity qualify as speaking a language?

If so, I'm fluent in English, rusty in French, can be fairly rude in German, and I also know a couple really nasty things in Spanish.

I have Swedish and Finnish as my mother tongues and I can speak English fluently.
Knowing Swedish means I understand people from Norway and Denmark.
I also know phrases and the most basic stuff (thank you, hello, bye etc) in French, German and Spanish, this is so low know how that you can't even count it in as knowing a small part of a language since anyone could learn it in an hour or so.
I am from Finland.

English, and I learned Spanish in high school, though it takes a few minutes for me to transition between the two.

ANOTHER WELSH SPEAKER! I'm actually from Australia, and taught myself basic Welsh, but I've been having proper lessons for a while now, and so are most of my friends. I don't know why, but I just LOVE the language. So not ALL Welsh speakers are from Wales :p

I'm from Spain and I speak Spanish, Catalan, English and have the basic level of French..and for future plans I'd love to speak either Turkish(due to my Turk descendants) or Chinese( 'cos it's awesome and it's going to be really important in the near future)
