I speak Swedish and English fluently.

I also understand Spanish quite well, but fail at speaking it.

English, Japanese (intermediate) and French (badly). A couple more years from now I might actually speak Japanese well. I have been told my Japanese accent is good but I always get this feeling that all Japanese people lie about Foreigner's Japanese skills.

I can speak English and I'm learning Japanese. I took two years of Spanish and all I can say is "Yo no hablo espanol." Am I the only one who thinks Japanese is so much easier than Spanish/other romance languages.

Well, technically three: English, Spanish, and Tamil. However, the latter two are dormant in my mind. Sit me in Spain, Mexico, or India for a few weeks and my language proficiency comes flooding back. However, if tell me to say something in Spanish or Tamil at this very moment, and I would probably struggle and accidentally mix the two languages together.

What the hell is "Indian"?!
i don't know the "proper" name for it but the language they speak in india you douche duh :|
Firstly, don't insult people. Reported

Secondly, India doesn't have 1 language. It has dozens, including Urdu, Hindi, Gujirati, Kannada and English, funnily enough.

I would have thought that a guy who apparantly knows 10 languages would have taken the time out of his busy "Making Up Bullsh*t" quota to find out the name of the language he apparantly knows

Sadly, only one. Though I do have enough familiarity with 3 others to generally understand at least the basics of what is being said, I certainly can't actually speak them myself.

well, I just skipped a bunch of posts, sorry 'bout that.

Alright, I'm Canadian, and I speak French and English, learned them in that order. Apparently I can't count to three because there's a tree in the way. That was useless info unless you heard french people speak English before. But without it this would have been quite short.

You forgot to mention what kind of Chinese: Mandarin or Kantonesian?
Considering I have no idea what Kantonesian is...I speak mandarin. Or do you mean Cantonese?
I try not to speak to foreigners in their own tongue. They go wayy too fast.
Doh, sorry. I didn't look it up. It's pretty easy to think Dutch and English are almost the same. So I translated Kantonees with Kanto... ne... sian... yeah, whatever, Kantonesian.

Thanks for the heads up.
Ah. No biggie. Though if you're talking about Cantonese, then you mean chinese dialects as a whole. Cantonese isn't the only chinese dialect. It's just the majority one.
Oh really? Not just north for Mandarin, south for Cantonese? What are the others called? Are they in the thousands? O_O
