Do beans from Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine count?
They have eyes.

If so probably over a billion.

I was part of a multi-continental nuclear war in Civ 4...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that one game alone puts me in the one billion+ area.

I checked over 1 billion and then I realized that you meant in videogames, that number is probably much lower...

I'll just leave this here...

Occupying a planet is always so much of a hassle....
Because of this somewhere around 420 Billion a game. So I am probably in the Trillions right now, maybe approaching Quadrillions with the Command and Conquer games, Halo, Call of Duty, Gear of War, Half Life, etc

I don't really know. I know that I've at least killed 100,000,000 because of AC:4A & Old King and I've likely raked in 1,000,000 due to Dynasty Warriors and the like. All in all, my kill count is probably several billion.

Over 1 billion. Massive RTS junkie (Not counting original TA though, those were not people) and have played extensively various games of the Defcon and "Wipe out world with virus" types.

Does bombing entire planets count? If so games like DarkSpace and the SoaSE series make my kill count astronomical.

I voted in at the 10,000-100,000 bracket, but that was before I factored in strategy games.

No one can prove I pushed the buttons that led to so many desolate worlds.
No proof can survive that much radiation.

I think a kill is worthwhile only if it's personal.

Over a billion, easily, from Spore alone. Any games involving space destruction tend to give you a trillion kills in the first hour.

Do robots count? If so,I think my killcount just got inflated by tens of millions - I play a lot of Supreme Commander, and I played a lot of Total Annihilation.

Well, I play a whole lot of RTS games. In fact, earlier today I was in a 2 and a half hour long game of Wargame: European Escalation where my and a friend destroyed around (rough estimate) 4-500 tanks. Each of those tanks has around a 5 person crew, so about 2 thousand from tanks alone. I'm not even going to count how many MI-24's I destroyed with full crew and troop complement. Yesterday I was playing some Men of War: Assault Squad and I decided that it would be pretty fun if I held off the enemy for as long as I could before I took the last base. I made some massive defensive lines, made sure that their artillery was destroyed, and loaded up all my troops with the proper ammo, then I left my computer running for an hour or so. Managed to rack up 5 thousands enemy casualties with no prisoners taken. So, about 7k in two days, and those aren't even my good days. Add together all that for over 10 years, and that's probably over 3/4ths of a billion kills in RTS games alone. That's not including FPS's and TPS's either.

EDIT: I totally forgot about Empire at War and when I went on my "Death Star everything not Empire" run.

I have mostly fought non-sentient monsters, so when just counting people, including all sentient creatures, it's probably between 100,000 and 1,000,000.

Having played the ME games at least twenty-five times.....I have to be past a million already...and then including the other games.....if I'm not at or over a billion, I'm pretty damn close to it.

Given the scale of my favorite game, Galactic Civilizations II, I'm responsible for plenty of billions of deaths by now.

I've played a few games where I've blown up planets, or hit a magical genocide button.
My favorite example though, is Infinite Space.
Towards the endgame, you fight countless Lugovalos battleships that can have crews of over 500.
Captcha: love me?
I think the Captcha has gained sentience.

I played the mass effect games several times. Several shooters (MW2, Black OPs, Bad company 1, Battlefield 3, Resistance 3). Both inFamous games. Assassin's creed 2 through 3. Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Skyrim. Genji Days of the blade. God of War 1+2. Devil May cry series.

I could go on but you get the point. I can rack up a lot of kills in those games.
