7-8 hours.
I work a night shift at work, so I often wake up at 7pm at go to bed at 11am.
I would probably sleep like that anyways, but with work it gives me an excuse :p

The time I sleep until I have a good night's rest totally differs. It has been everything between 1 1/2 and 16 hours. Most of the time it is 4 to 8 hours.

On school days I usually go to bed between midnight and 1am, and wake up at 7am. On weekends I fall asleep around 1am-2am but wake up at about 11am, so I get lots more sleep on weekends...

I work at 8am so I try to be in bed ready to sleep by midnight, so that's ~7hrs of sleep. On weekends tho I can go to bed around 12-1 and sleep for a solid 10 hours.

I said 5-6 houes but I can be more or less. I try to go to bed when I'm tired but it doesn't always work like that in the adult world. So I'll get into bed for 1am-ish and have to be back up at 6am -_-

I should be able to get nine hours in the time I'm in bed, but I usually only wind up with six or seven. :(
Now these cats have been appearing in the neighborhood, and they're yowling in the night.

anywhere between 6-12 hours, seemingly at random. Today was a 12 hour day, yesterday was 6. I try and get 7-8 but I find it immensely difficult to actually achieve it.

As for set sleep times, I -try- to be in bed by 4-5am.

Now that I'm in the army, about 6 hours a day, usually 3 hours in the afternoon and 3 hours at night due to our guard duty schedules. As a result, my brain rarely functions at full capacity, but enough to drag my sorry ass and 80 pounds of weapons and gear around the barracks I guess. Before that, I used to sleep 8-9 hours a day.

I tend to hover a bit above 8 hours. If i get less than 6-7 i feel like absolute shit and will be irritable for the whole day.

I like to sleep a bit extra on weekends and such, but i always wake up after 9 or so hours if my alarm doesn't go off.

4-5 on average. I'm ridiculously busy with uni work and consistently go to sleep between 1 and 2 a.m.
And since classes are at 8 a.m., with 30 mins commute and usual morning housework to be done before (dishwashing, cat feeding, litter cleaning, etc.) I usually get up between 6 and 6.15 a.m.

That of course assuming I don't have exams coming up.

I did get a lot of sleep as a teenager, and I drank lots of milk so I'm tall thanks to it (5 years ago I'd voted 7-8 / 8+). But as an adult, I thought 6 hours were 'ok' but not good? I don't remember the last time I went to sleep before 12am, work up before 8am, naturally, and felt perfectly refreshed and not tired. I remember that feeling, I just don't remember how long ago it was, maybe 10-15 years ago even.

Normally, I go to bed at 10 and sleep for about 8-9 hours, but for the last two weeks I have only slept 1 or 2 hours a night. Please help me Escapists, I am very tired.
