Um the ones I'm currently wearing... $70. They're limited edition Metallica Converse. I'm a terrible person, I know. But I also have $20 boots, $40 paint splattered Converse, a few pairs of $10 flip-flops and another pair of $60 boots a long with a few pairs $30-50 dress shoes.

Oh, I do have $200 high heels in my possession, but they're my sister's and not mine.
I've never understood why people need so many shoes.
I have a pair of everyday/running shoes, flip flops I rarely wear, and dress shoes I dread to wear... I think I might have another pair of dress shoes but I'm not sure

I currently have an obsession with obscure converse, you have to admit though, they look pretty damn good:

I don't see why spending money on vanity is any worse than any other luxury good, like game consoles, cars, or a nice couch.

$10. On sale at Walmart. Had them for a year and a half now. Most comfortable fucking shoes I've ever owned.

15? and I've been wearing them for like 4 years without complaints. They just work.
But hey, luxury is always useless and often horribly overpriced for what it is at the core, that's how money is made.

Those are really expensive shoes. I honestly don't buy my own shoes, but they were most probably below $50. I never really buy new shoes until they are neary unwearible. For instance, the last pair of shoes I had the was insole falling apart, the rubber on the bottom was nearly gone showing some of the midsole, some of the bands snapped off, the shoe seemed to be made brown and the tounge was barley attached. What might baffle you is that I still would have continued using them without asking for a new pair for a few more months, maybe a year if my parents haven't forced me to get new ones. I really hate breaking in shoes.

Gonna buy me another pair just like em except in brown next time I get a chance...

Its hard to find proper boots in size 47, that can withstand the harsh conditions my feet give em.

Last summer alone Iv walked though 3 pairs of converse... And I mean literally walked though, as in holes in the soles.

Fred Perry plimsolls were £35, Converse hi-tops (not the classic skinny ones, I hate those things) were £50.

I believe mine cost 100 euros. They're my shoes for as long as possible. That means, my mom drags me to the stores after six months because they're 'old'. No they're not, look, the soles still are attached! Damnit woman, you're throwing away your money! THEY'RE FIIIINE
*scraaaaaaaping of nails on tiles as me mum drags me to the car*

This morning on the bus i overheard an conversation between 2 girls.
At one point one of them mentioned that her new shoes had costed her 275 Euro (that's 381,81 dollar).
WHAT?!?!?!
So uhmm...... how much do your shoes cost?
And why did you paid that much for them?
They cost $10 USD
why did I pay that much?
because it's better then buying the same exact shoes with a brand on the side for an extra $99 USD

Usually my shoes cost between 20 and 100 euros. The majority of them costing something like 60 euros. The most expensive shoes I ever got costed 300 euros though. High quality leather to match my dashing costume, oh yeah. If I could, I would have traded them for cheaper ones, but you can't go exchange a gift like that so easily.

About 4 bucks.
This is their 7th year.
Bought in China.
For some 'cheap knockoff', they're really fucking durable.
Also comfy.
