I can't play Portal 2 co-op with my friend who has a ps3. Other than that Nothing at all. My xbox has just been playing Doctor Who while I do my gaming on PC.

Other than threads popping up on the escapist about this topic and the occasional webcomic that decides to poke fun of it: I have experienced no problems whatsoever

Don't play much online lately to be honest. I recently bought all three Mount and Blade titles and the Leliana, Morrigan and Amgarrak DLC's for Dragon Age Origins (is anyone else having the issue where the steam downloads like 5GB of each game everytime you start it up? because that has happened to me for the past two weeks. Only Dragon Age Origins and 2 are doing it =\)

I couldn't redeem my PC copy of Portal 2. That's about it.
You don't need the PSN to redeem a Steam code, just to connect from Steam to Ps3.
But you do need the PSN to connect to Steam from the PS3.
That's just for cross-console playing, though. The Steam download is separate from the connection.
But you can't activate your Steam Portal 2 code until you sign in to your steam account from the PS3 version of Portal 2, and to do that you need your PSN account to be active.

Well, I had to cancel my credit card and I haven't played my ps3 a lot, other then that not much at all. Sure I would love to get online and play some Black Ops but for the time being all I want is to make sure that nothing like this happens again. So Sony, make sure your security is AIR TIGHT!

I'm a devout single-player fan but the lack of multiplayer has hit me much harder than I thought it would, I need my Crysis 2 fix.

The only inconvenince for me was the Castlevania DLC coming out ON THE SAME DAY as it went down. That made me and a work mate very very sad :( We'd been looking forward to it for months.

On the upside, it is a two part DLC, so by the time PSN is back up, maybe the second part will be up! Yay! Something t olook forward to there anyway.

I cancelled my card as a pre-emptive thing. Other than that, not too much. I can still watch netflix. I think I can do without multiplayer for a while.

Couldn't activate Portal 2 on my PC. (and yes, its impossible without binding your PSN account to your steam account) Finished it on the PS 3. Also, it gave me the final tip of buying Brink on the PC, not on the PS3.

Otherwise: well, its a gaming network, one of the most unimportant things for my survival. I play for fun and stress relief, not for being angry about something. If a game doesn't work, I play/do something else. Nothing to be really upset about.

I have been affected very little by the PSN hacking (due to the fact that I have an Xbox360). I have a buddy who has a PS3 and we used to play LBP2 all the time. Then be bought TF2 on Steam and everything is cool. Still I miss Sackboy...

Not much.
I could not register my online pass for Dead Space 2.
That is it since I do not play online.

Though I did get all the "you have been compromised" e-mails, but I get those at least once every six months from someone so I just watch my stuff and keep on keeping on.

You don't need the PSN to redeem a Steam code, just to connect from Steam to Ps3.
IN this instance you need to connect your PSN account to your steam account from within protal 2, then go online to steam and redeem your code.

No PSN = no PSNSteam = No redeem = :(
