Poll: how much to you like/dislike made up pokemon

I recently made up a new pokemon and I was thinking what to you guys think of made up pokemons? I think most suck especially the made up evolution or when the maker gives it three types but below most of the crap there are some great ones

steel/ poison
10 resistances
1 immunity
2 weaknesses (ground and fire)
4 normal
appearence:
it would be a steel bear/sloth with two pipes coming out of it's back with green gasses coming out of it and it drools acid. hit has sludge coming out in cracks of it's steel armour. body will be in the shape of a small bear with no head it has pure green eyes(flygon green) a circular mouth with sharp teeth that trip acid, thick short arms (but still have an elbow) with sloth claws(same size as vigoroth), the body is covered in rusty steel that has gaps with sludge coming out (very dark green) coming out and near the shoulder blades are the two pipes, it's legs are similar to ursaring in shape but have cross (triangular) claws (too help with climbing) also it's teeth spin in a circulare rather then check and they can extent to close the mouth of be pulled in to open (or spew acid).
diet:
it eats garbage and chemicals to provide power for it's attacks and to make the acid an toxins for it's attacks
abilities:
it can digest any poison toxin or acid without any repercussions and the pipes on it's back is where it's waste products come out of.
personalitie:
it slops around the city finding things to eat due to it's gasses most cities try to get rid of them but because they can dig and climb up nearly any surface they are hard to catch. even though this pokemon looks very relaxed it will release large amounts of toxins and acid if it's interrupted in it's search for food.
in game abilitie:
can't remmember the name but any drain move will result in the other pokemon recieving damage not health
stats:
HP: 100
ATTACK: 60
DEFENCE 140
SPECIAL ATTACK: 60
SPECIAL DEFENCE: 140
SPEED: 20
TOTAL: 520

it evolves from a orb of steel with small togipie hands and legs with one tooth in it's smile and smoke coming out of it's mouth and it has sludge for hair it would evolve at lv 30.

also could you please tell me what you think of my pokemon?

I think most of the made up ones are kinda cool, if not down right badass. The one you made up sounds pretty awesome, if only Game freak took suggestions... But then again, it's probably for the best they don't now that I think about it.

thanks I always only start thinking about pokemon ideas if I have good concept like a pokemon that is immune to weather but it's attack cause weather and all evolutions have complete equal base stats or a pokemon which have made a good sprite for. I made this pokemon when i though about what happens to all the garbage and I saw the garbage pokemon and though 'some of that waste has to re-enter their natural cycle' so what better then a pokemon that eats the garbage and then the waste gas goes back into their natural cycle. Also I like 'blockers' which are pokemons with good defence stats and normally above average hp.

That's probably the most thought I've ever heard put into a pokemon, as opposed to 'let's see what happens when I combine these two and make it cool.' I've always wondered what would happen if a steel/electricity pokemon were created, probably waaaay over powered.

there already is steel electric (magne evolution line) they gained steel in the 2nd generation though it is very good.

I used to make up "Fusion" pokemon, involving version rivals and show rivals.

There was a Scyther vs Electabuzz episode of the anime that made we think up Scybuzz...Kinda lame. But I put a ton of thought into it's move-set.

Vulpix and Growlithe (Blue and Red version) didn't not merge well. Physical sweeper and special attacker was broken as fuck.

The problem with most fan-made anything is that they typically lack any semblance of balance. If that bar is overcome then I have little problem with it. Not really a pokemon fan myself though

Oh yeah that's right, I completely forgot about that. They've combined so many it's hard to keep track what they did.

I balance my pokemons this one is slightly below average in both attacks and is extremely slow meaning it will always attack second and in post 5 I explain my thought pattern for this pokemon so they type mixture being good is just lucky because I thought of the type mixture and checked how it was.

I like more made up pokemon than I don't like, though many of them look more like Digimon or Monster Rancher monsters than a good ol' Poke.
Still, after Pantslizard, I just can't defend the designs any more....

As for the stats 'n fighting stuff, most made up pokemon are terrible. Smogon has done some great madeup pokemon and retypings, however. So many people who make made-up pokemanz want theirs to be the Kyogre of the 3rd generation, or if they're modest, the skarmory or tyranitar of the 2nd gen.

I agree. Wasn't 151 enough? How many more do you need? The original ones are the only ones. The newer ones get Star Wars prequel status...

Thats very closed-minded of you. There have been several sightings as well as tracks of Primeape in north america as well as pokemon sightings such as a Lapras in lake Loche Ness, a Crobat in certain regions of mexico and even Dragonite fossils found in China.

After the first 250, pokemon (which were great!) designs in the newer games aren't that hard to beat, they either look like a squiggly mess of colour and dont make sense. Or they are super mega steel lazer firing mega pokemon that still look like a squiggly mess. Anyone can design a pokemon these days because pokemon has lost its creativity completely.

I am a big fan of Pokemon but even I can say Ive been dissapointed with all the latest designs.
So to anyone who likes to design Pokemon.. You can't go wrong! I designed one about 6 years ago. It was a fighting type frog that used to whip his beard.

Nope. I just never played the games after Red and Blue so therefore refuse to acknowledge their existence. My memories of Pokemon are of before they started taking the piss!
