The few DLC I've tried at a friends place have been pretty dire. Dragon Age was meh, and Assassin's Creed 2 felt like a massive grind.

I think the only DLC I've ever bought was for Killing Floor. They cost like 2euros, and got me 4 character models, but I felt like throwing a few coins at a small developer wasn't such a bad idea.

Not much, so far I've bought about 4200 microsoft points in... oh 2 years give and take. I only buy DLC that adds to a game in a meaningful way too, I don't buy skin packs or that sort of stuff.

So far the only games I've gotten stuff for were Soul Calibur IV (Darth Vader, you can't not buy him) Mass Effect 2 and recently bought one for Dragon Age (there was an offer for 50% of the price).

And Castle Crashers.

I get DLC for games I love (gears of war 2, Mass effect 1&2, L4D2), and whenever I get extra points from when I get arcade games (which is once every month or 2), but I refuse to get anything from activision, they over price it. How are 5 maps equal to games like Limbo and Castle Crashers?
It's not, but they know people will pay.

I don't often buy DLC unless it's a game I'm still playing regularly or if it's cheap and well worth the money. I think the last DLC I got was the Passing for left 4 dead 2.

I have everything for Oblivion and the asteroid for Mass Effect 1, but otherwise no, most DLC boils down to go here, get shiny new item, beat easy boss, which is why I still regret Knotholde Island to this day.

When I can afford it, or when I'm bored enough to spend money on some PSN cards and buy lotsa shit off the network.
