I swear not ten minutes ago, my mother, after stubbing her toe, said twenty-three different curse words in a row! I shouldn't have laughed, I really shouldn't have, but it was just too damn funny!

I'd say, on average, I curse somewhere around 3-5 times a day now. It used to be 6-8, but I'm seriously trying to stop cursing altogether.

Why shouldn't you have laughed at your mother saying 23 different swear words?
I mean, that's impressive.

And why are you trying to stop swearing?
I see no reason to.

OT: I swear whenever I fucking feel like it.
Oh yeah. I'm just that bad.
Which is usually whenever I'm enthusiastic or annoyed about something.

I curse a lot. Depends on what I am doing and who I am talking to obviously.

Hilariously I got yelled at yesterday because my sister spelled out the word Douchebag so that my little brother didn't know what we were talking about and I said, "YOU MEAN DOUCHEBAG!?"

Yeah, I wasn't thinking at all.

Very rarely, actually.

Usually only when angry or in pain.

Very rarely, usually only for emphasis or when I hurt myself(standing on lego hurts like a *****).

I cuss like a sailor (around my friends); I tend to tone it down for people I don't know well, so I can reel them in with thinking I'm a kind and calm person.

I don't really care to stop, it's not hurting anyone. (Though, my friend threatens to kick me out of the Christian store she works for because of my cussing, to which I often reply, 'Like I give a fuck if people hear me cuss.')

Even though I use cuss words often, I'm pretty calm 80% of the time. Though, I do have a temper and the stuff I tell you will probably make you cry and never want to see me again.

Too much.
I used to not swear at all, because it's just easier when you work with kids (because you need to be able to resist the urge to swear if a kid wets themselves on you or drops something on your foot or throws a toy phone at your head).
But more recently I can't stop swearing.

23? The most I've managed in one sentence was around 15. I'll have to work on it.

All the time. It depends who's listening though.

1) I felt a little bad over the fact that I was laughing at her pain.
2) I usually curse when trying to get a point across, and while people don't acknowledge it much I still feel bad for doing it. That's a part of the reason why I want to stop.
3) Because karma sucks! I just stubbed the crap out of my toe on the same couch my mom just did!

1) Pssssh... Schadenfreude is the best kind of freude.
2) I see no problem with using swear words to put emphasis on something.
3) That's the price you pay for the aforementioned freude, not for your swearing.

I didn't realise how much I did at work, until I went on a visit to another company site and had to put on a good impression. I had to keep consciously stopping myself from saying things like "Stupid fucking computers, they are a load of shit", "Bollocks, that test fucking failed again" etc. It just seems to automatically come out. I'm not really directing it at anyone (which is good), but it does seem to punctuate a lot of my sentences.

Edit: Afterthought. As any responsible parent, I don't swear in front of my son. But then, my parents never swore in front of me, and I still ended up swearing a lot as an adult. Why is that? Is it a rebellious teenager thing that I never grew out of? Is it worth putting so much effort into shielding my son from bad words if he's just going to end up the same way? I guess the main thing is to prevent him from repeating those words at school, so he doesn't get in trouble with the teachers or the parents of other kids.

I swear a lot if I'm angry or annoyed but I try to tone it down if it's just a normal conversation, but sometimes I can't help it. So I guess I swear a lot. It's definitely over 10 a day.

Probably in the hundreds, I basically use swear words in place of commas. And I don't even speak that much in the typical day.

I've managed not to swear at work or formal functions (yet) thankfully.
