Every other day generally. I never sweat really, plus when I do shower it takes me at least half an hour (I love LONG showers) so it would eat up far too much time to do it every day or more.
The main threat to my hygiene at the moment comes from having just run out of work shirts. The Washing machine is broken something fierce and has been the past far too long. ¬_¬
I like to shower everyday during the weekdays, and I normally don't bother of the weekend. If I ever go out it's on a friday so showering on the weekend seems pointless to me. To be honest I only shower every weekday because I have a labour-intensive job and I do some form of exercise every evening. sometimes I wish I had a pool near-by that I could swim and wash in after a days work, but the closest one is owned by the dam mafia man.
Everyday, usually just before going somewhere (about half an hour before leaving the house.)
Some weekends, or days when I have to finish an essay, or the muse strikes me and I write all day, I skip the shower, but the next day my hair is greasy enough to remind me why I usually shower everyday. (I also go to open mic nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so if I don't shower the next morning, I am basically caked in sweat all day.)
It's not even like I don't like feeling dirty (because I love being dirty but I enjoy the feeling of a shower. I could seriously spend a day or two in their if someone else was willing to pay for gas and water.
When you live in temperate / tropical temperatures, you *need* to shower daily or you feel really really icky.
When I lived in a cold climate, I would shower once every few days - less sweat.
The big one is how often you wash your clothes - if you get multiple wears out of a piece, you can shower less. When they smell like the inside of death, you gotta do it daily
I like showering, hot water is great, especially since my house gets cold during the transfer from past-sleepy-me to present-waking-me. Don't really feel a "need" to shower though, I'm not sure how often I would shower if it wasn't for the physical comfort and the complaints of those around me.
