I'm a 20-year old college student. I play games because I believe they are the most brilliant, effective, and unique storytelling medium out there. I play sometimes for competitive purposes, but mostly I play for the same reason I would watch a movie or read a book: for the literary value.

31, I probably play on average about 3 times a week or so. No guarantees on the length of time, maybe minutes maybe hours. I play cause games are a good release of work related stress and because compared to TV shows you get a lot more choice, freedom, and interaction compared to your average canned crappy TV show.

27: I don't really watch TV aside from a few shows. I just enjoy spending my free time with something a little more interactive. When I do have time for it. Temporarily life is taking over the vast majority of my time. I probably enjoy them because I grew up with them. Between my brother and I we had an Atari, NES, Genesis, various Gameboys, GameGear, SNES, Saturn, N64, after that I got a job, and have basically bought each system since. I have hundreds of games as well since I now collect, older games as well as continue to buy new games. I have never sold or traded a game either unless I have two copies of it.
